WNDS 502
Been poor for Brazil so far. Some excellent dribbling, but the number of promising attacks he ruined was shocking; on two separate occasions he was played into excellent positions from which to deliver a simple final pass, only to dawdle on the ball and lose possession. I was in shock, and even in more shock when they kept passing to him.I refuse to believe Brazil doesn't have better than what he showed today. Luca Lima,Coutinho, hell old ass Kaka. They need something. He wouldnt be starting for a long time if I were Dunga.....absolutely unacceptable display.

With so many of our other players being hideously out-of-form, it would be a real shame if Oscar sinks to their level. On a more positive note, I thought Willian looked good out there. He created a few genuinely dangerous openings, regularly dribbled past opponents, and displayed tidy link-up play for the most part. Hopefully he can maintain this level for a while longer. robsblubot 3,595
Finally watched the game and thought Oscar was decent. Certainly not good enough, but not as bad as I've been hearing.Yes, Willian had a better game, only because he was able to put some decent crosses in the box. He was also a bit inefficient in the final third, so what was said of Oscar applies to Willian as well. This Brazilian team is as bad as the one who crumbled to Germany. While people had fun dissing at D. Luiz brain-dead decision making, the stinker was really the midfield or the lack thereof - it always is.I've come to think that Luiz Gustavo is nowhere near good enough. Fernandinho is also not good enough as is Ramires. So, Brazil has no CM to speak of - nobody as good as Vidal for example. Too many players on the squad play in Brazil - a very different league in terms of pace and these players will always struggle in a more competitive game. They can't possibly field a goal keeper (and yet they did!) who play in second division in Brazil against the likes of Alexis and Vidal - they literally play at a different speed he's used to.There are so many things wrong with Brazil atm that it's difficult to think they will come back to top5 any time soon.Almost forgot:Daniel Alves was awfuland Marcelo good with the ball at his feet but awful without itMarquinhos replaced injured D.Luiz while still 0x0 and had a pretty poor game IMO. Jase 43,479
Oscar, Willian criticized heavily in Brazil after losing to Chile in World Cup qualifying"Brazil without Neymar is pure crap. We were trying to find a synonym, so: Brazil is s**t. Isn't it? Bullcrap, poop." "What's worse -- or 'best' -- is that 'boy' who isn't cold, but has cockroach's blood called Oscar, whom as a player is 'indefined' in every way; without a defined personality. He's capable of scoring Brazil's consolation goal against Germany in that 7-1, but he'll always be incapable of scoring the team's first goal in a hard game." "In today's game [against Chile] he had the opportunity to score the first goal but he fluffed his chance. And then he goes on to take a free kick, and when it was about to be taken [narrator] Galvão Bueno said Willian scored four goals from free kicks in his last four games. Willian suffered the foul but Oscar takes the free kick and... it hits the wall."

Barbara 15,149
Oscar, Willian criticized heavily in Brazil after losing to Chile in World Cup qualifyingyep, I saw this guy saying exactly those things live on TV (not in the match, but in a kind of MOTD kind of show). It's a literal translation of what he's said, it isn't the media though, it was one guy's comment. That said, I think Oscar has had enough chances to prove his worth and he more often than not proved otherwise, he's always going to be that player that has a brilliant moment once in a big while, that will press a lot, but won't offer much else to the attackWillian got the evolution I expected from Oscar and should definitely be ahead of him in both Chelsea and Brazil NT. A classic Brazilian number 10 with enormous ability, agility and skill, but you've hit the nail on the headed with the bold part. I don't know if he suffers from a lack of interest, concentration or he's just not that intelligent on a football sense but something is not right when you watch Oscar. When he simply coasts through a game or lets it go by him (a la Fabregas) he's a useless part. I often mock Ozil for Arsenal because, while on talent he may be one of the best no10s in the world, he does the infamous disappearing act for Arsenal far too much! Their fans will defend him to the core, they have no choice when he came at £40m, but even they know in their hearts that Ozil's lack of consistency hurts them a lot.Mourinho sees this, you would think. The amount of time Oscar has spent on the bench in the last two seasons is staggering. He was often subbed on or off but seldom played a full 90minutes. Slyly, JM must regret selling Mata and dubbing Oscar his number 10. I defended that decision a lot when it happened and I'm sad that its simply not clicking for Oscar but he's got resale value and this isn't the time for sentiments. I think he might not admit it but he probably regrets selling KDB out of all of them. He could have coached him to press like Oscar but take that aside KDB is an upgrade over Oscar in almost every angle and I think he would have done wonders for us. Look at the impact he has made at City already and he is on the level with the likes of Hazard, Silva, Sanchez and Aguero, he really is. Oscar just looks way too fragile when playing for us. There were some people who actually thought he was the missing link when we were doing poor and he was not in the team. Oscar is a player before like I was saying that may look good when we are playing well but rarely will be the standout difference when the team is average. We really need better contributions from him because too often he looks like a fragile passenger.Mourinho is obviously not impressed by Oscar, hence why he has been on the bench in recent matches. But right now I am fine with him as a squad player. I just don't think he has done enough to be starting as our no.10 and I think he will continue on the bench till he actually steps up much more. Only thing he regrets is not getting more money or performance clauses on his deal. No way can KDB play the n10 role Jose wants and envisions. Also, regarding KDB, all those stats he put up are games where david silva was injured/not playing. If Cesc burned out before the beginning of the 2015, no way would KDB last longer, especially in the n10 role. We've seen time and time, how players are going right through Cesc and the same would apply to KDB or in my opinion even worse.

Cesc took half a season before he broked down under Jose too. Also, maybe he regrets branding him his n10, but I don't think he would of made Juan mata his n10.
