It's also a team that is on course to winning the Bundesliga for the third consecutive year in a row as well as the DFB-Pokal, whilse managing to reach the final of the Champions League four times in the last five years.

If you are judging how 'complete' a team is based on a cup final, you need to re-evaluate yourself.

Heyckness bayern was better than pep one. Simple as that.

This is not an debate as to which Bayern squad is better. This is talking about how close to 'complete' their current squad is. Have you monitored Bayern recently? They are colossal. Unbeaten in all domestic competitions.

lets be honest. they might as well hand the bundesliga to them in august. it would be more impressive for pep to fail to win it.

We don't have any money, we have to sell before we buy. Schurrle and Salah need to be sold first

How can we not be able to spend when over the course of last season and this summer we earned more money in sales than the players we bought. Of course we have money to spend. How can City be able to fork out up to a near £30m and we can't? If Mourinho wants to buy he will buy. It won't be because of financial restrictions. I don't believe that.

Complete/great teams can still lose you insufferable twat.

You can't call them complete if they can get demolished by another team because losing in the manner that Bayern lost to real means that they have big deficiencies and hence are incomplete.

Simply, there are no complete teams. Great team, of course, complete team, does NOT exist......you embodification of eloquence

They might be more ''complete'', but their football and results were better under Heynckes.

What you're saying is still redundant though. Where in this thread does it say that Guardiola's side was better?

Also, to derail you a little, what you've said there is irrational. Better results? Guardiola hasn't even finished his second season at the club (in which he remains unbeaten domestically), and you are already making incoherent conclusions like that? I'm actually done.

Please, the definition for 'complete' is ambiguous at best. It's literally up for interpretation for the reader. Ya bish.

You closed many times in the past.

Like you said, "in the past".

There's no point in locking them. People will still discuss about the player in other threads. So why not just let them discuss it in the threads here instead? Moreover, when they are on the move again, we have to open them for discussion. Saves time to just leave these threads open.

Here, here :tophat:

I was always against locking threads straight away when players 'finalised' their moves. There's often basis for conversation anyway.

Have to say, the overreaction and overhype-ness to City getting Bony is hilarious. Sure, he is a good striker with an impressive goalscoring record but the way people have been talking about him is like City have signed Ronaldo or Messi. If we are going to let ourselves be affected psychologically by City signing a player and fall away for them to win the title because of that, then we don't deserve to become champions.
