Not at all, not that much of a step up from Zulte but definately a good environment to be in for 6 months. They've got a brilliant trainingcomplex and I'm convinced he'd be a key player for them.

It would be kind of a douchy move towards his current team (title contender), but in the end it will make him a better player. At Zulte, where two crucial players already left this month, he practically has to carry the entire team with his creativity. At Anderlecht he'll find more players of his level or slightly above. Dennis Praet, Massimo Bruno, Anthony Vanden Borre (!! in my eyes), Youri Thielemans, Matthias Suarez, all decent slash good players. There are some older internationals like Demy De Zeeuw in the team too, that don't play a lot but can still be valuable to young players during training.

Eredivisie isn't much better. Defensively they're one of the weakest leagues in Europe.

Yeah, for a creative player, the Belgian league is more challenging in my eyes. It's been a while since we had a top scorer with +25 goals.

I'm hoping this doesn't mean he'll be at Anderlecht for the next 1 1/2 years. If it's a 6 month move it doesn't make much sense. Hazard should get a La Ligue 1 move next to a mid low table team or a move to low table PL team.

If we sell KDB/mata he might have a chance to be the 6th option in our AM. but as things stand, I can't see it. thinking about the amount of attacking midfielders on our books is quite sickening actually and unless the plan was to sell most of them for profit then I can't see it as anything other than awful and inefficient use of resources. KDB,Thorgan, marin, moses,piazon,traore,kakuta in addition to the regular first team options. that's just an overkill.

Chelsea has given theire word to Zulte that he's finishing the season over there, but still Anderlecht is not giving up, so talks continue..

Meanwhile Thorgan scored in theire 3-2 Belgian cup quarter finals loss against Cercle Brugge. They won the 1st leg with 1-0, so they continue to the semi finals.

Thorgan says in this post-cupmatch interview (in French) it's time to leave Zulte, and he says that he has told Chelsea he wants to go to Anderlecht as soon as possible.

Personally i'd rather like him to stay at Zulte, okay they've lost their second best player with Malanda but he's the real leader of the team and makes his teammates playing better. In Anderlecht there's more concurrention (Praet, Bruno), although he should be able to play every game since he's simply the best player in the Belgian League. So probably it's better for his evolution that he goes to Anderlecht, but since i'm a fan of Club Bruges, i don't like to see him make Anderlecht win the league

How far off is he from the NT? By all accounts he's the best player in the League yet he hasn't gotten a sniff yet.
