Yes, that's exactly what I said. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

I don't think Sturridge was good enough, ergo Torres is.

I don't like the taste of aniseed ergo I like the works of Dan Brown. #blindinglogicson

It's funny you say he wasnt good enough for us. He's already good in Liverpool, he's making an impact because he's playing (he is actually getting gametime) and playing in a more natural spot.

You think he wasnt good enough for us because you believe in everything you read and dont see further than your nosetip.

Right now we have two strikers, and Torres will PLAY in the Europa League, whether you think he is good enough doesn't matter we don't have alternatives in the Europa League and it will cost us another title.

He changed the game for Liverpool today, his movement was awesome, and linked up very well with Suarez, he'd have been grabbing all the headlines if he had score to make it two two but then again even the best miss chances, Van Persie missed an arguably better chance in the first half. What a strike force Chelsea would have had, Sturridge, Ba, Lukaku, I get sad everytime I think about it.

Yes that's right. :wank2:

People's hatred of Sturridge gets in the way of the fact he's actually a good player.

No-one will say he isn't a good player. They just don't think he (and his attitude in particular) is right for us.

The funny thing is that he gets criticised for what is a common trait of a centre forward - selfishness. But it only gets highlighted with Sturridge because his finishing is bad. Once he improves on this aspect he will be a very good player. Unpredictability is his strength, not his weakness.

your love for him blinds you to his faults

I know Sturridge's faults and limitations. But people tend to exaggerate them so much. I don't overrate Sturridge, at least I like to think I don't. Haven't made outlandish statements about his ability, but when people make the stereotypical comment like, "Sturridge is a crap player, poor attitude, doesn't work, never passes/assist and always shooting etc." I find it ridiculous, like people who say Mikel never pass forwards. It is just going with what the (in my opinion, unfair) view on Sturridge when if you actually watch him he's not that had. For instance his passing is actually quite good.

He scored right but he also missed a very promising chance and fucked up at least one promising counter. However, I am curious to see what kind of partnership he and Suarez will make.

Hopefully they wont make one....or be a very dodgy one at that..

Its not a kind of pathological condition, its based on reasoned assessments of attending games. Only my opinion, but shared by many

American meaningless cliches can be quoted glibly, but really are stupid

Alot of people also support suicide bombers..
