Jype 6,398
okay or a 41212, and kagawa a cam, no problems there and still 2 strikers.and mata in cm? he played there last year in 433! (during avb) first it was lw, then cm, then cam in 4231 during robbie. sooo yeah i could imagine cuz it has happened before. Is that a diamond with wingers or a narrower one with central midfielders? United are stacked in the winger department so no way they're going to play with the latter one and the first one would be torn to pieces by any decent opposition. At least the games would be entertaining to watch when both sides would score goals for fun. One possibility of course is that they're is planning to buy Van Persie to play on the wings but that wouldn't be very wise, now would it?I don't believe old red nose is going to make too drastic changes to their formation because it has worked brilliantly before and they were so close to winning the league even last season. If he decides to go after another striker instead of a top class central midfielder then he really has lost it and that is of course what I'm hoping for. And as for Mata. he didn't play CM under AVB, always left wing and a couple of times at CAM around the time AVB got sacked and was desperate enough to try something else rather than the 4-3-3. And even if he did play there once or twice, playing in central midfield in a 4-3-3 is very much different to playing in a two man midfield where defending is also crucial. I don't think I've come across a single person suggesting Mata to play in central midfield of Di Matteo's 4-2-3-1. But again, if United were to play their new star man Kagawa in a position he's not familiar with, I wouldn't complain. Can't believe I took the time to come up with these posts about United's possible formations because I really don't give a flying fuck about what happens to that club.Regarding Van Persie, Arsenal have left him out of their squad to the Asia tour. A deal close to being agreed?

Sheva. 5,373
Don't know why Man utd want him? where would he fit in with Nani/Young, Kagawa, Valencia and Rooney? then there's Welbeck and Hernandez. And City lol, they have 4 strikers already. And not even young strikers like we do, 4 top strikers (and Santa Cruz )IMO he should stay at Arsenal or join Juve.

Muzchap 8,966
Impossible. There will never be a bigger flop then Torres!Well he did win us the corner Drogba scored from to level the CL...So in my eyes he's contributed something positive, like all CFC players.Singling him out for hate is unnecessary IMHO... Bogarde and Mutu shade him to that. Perhaps Kezman as well.

Justin_3d 1,140
This is total hatred statement towards Torres. Its like saying he will not ever progress as a CFC player. Hope he proves you wrong.Since day one he has prove me right. And like I said, one good season is not enough to help his price tag.As players like Berbatov also took 2 seasons to get going for only one great season before falling back into mediocrity.Veron and Forlan easilyFor the price, expectation....I don't think so.Well he did win us the corner Drogba scored from to level the CL...So in my eyes he's contributed something positive, like all CFC players.Singling him out for hate is unnecessary IMHO...And Kalou gave us a vtial goal against Benfica away....and still he is crap and I wanted him out of the team!seriously what is wrong with you? There have been many bigger flops! and as far as im concerned i will wait until the end of Torres's Chelsea career to judge whether he is a flop or not! What's wrong with me????Why should I support a player that after having done shit for a season and half, the club and fans supported him past all his mistake and after all that he has the audacity to demand talks with the club like if he is all that and important to the team...... Santiago. 1,500
First off, i want Torres to contribute his talent more than anybody as i have been of fan of him since 2005. Second, Forlan and Veron contributed nothing for the price they have been purchased for and won nothing. Torres gave us movement and critical moments where we needed something to happen which in some cases were not goals. His performances contributed to us winning the FA cup and Champions League. Stevenx1313 17
i swore this was a rvp thread.. I hope he gets out of the epl. Idk if he will have a season like last season or not. Hope he goes to Juve or Madrid.
Hutcho 8,443
Chelsea is a team.. I get behind all players when they have our shirt on. Its not helping torres if his own fans are on his back... I am sure he knows better than anyone he was pretty awful last season. He wasn't bad on purpose... He didn't demand a 50 mil pricetag... Give him a break, i think he will come good this season. He also was pretty awful in the season which was one of our best in terms of what we won. So in my eyes he can start again. If he doesn't do good enough this season then the people in charge will seek a replacement etc, but i think this will be his time...Fernando Torres Chelsea's Number 9, Na na na na na na na na, Torres Torres.
