Don't know why people are bashing AVB, he could easily turn Spurs into a class team and be successful(sadly). A fair amount of the players at Spurs are more suited to his philosophy than the squad he had to work with here.

Especially if he keeps Modric, who is brilliant technically (AND wasted in that fucking awful 4-4-2 shit Redknapp played) and Bale who is a good winger, with pace and strength. If he can build the team around them 2 with good players who knows how far he could go?
