Well Schweinsteiger has signed for United.. if Ramos follows him to Old Trafford, that sends a big message out to the rest of the clubs.

they needed a RB so that they could play their wingers as a winger.

they needed character in mid as well as quality.

they needed pacy wingers (depay).

You can laugh at Liverpool , but they will be talked about as rivals. Firmino is a good player. I doubt they will challenge at the top , but they finished above us 13/14...

And arsenal vastly upgrading their goalkeeper isn't as irrelevant as you make out.

Nice player but I'm not sure he'll be of much use to them. His body is broken and I can't see how moving to the Prem is going to be good for him with the pace and physicality its played at.

the excuses people are putting in is just laughable.

bastian is a world class player. period.

he might have had some injuries for the last 2 seasons but doubting "how good he can be in prem" is a joke. the guy is a beast. this is a brilliant short term signing for united.

Bastian will be needed for UCL experience while schneiderlin will feature more in the EPL. Makes perfect sense unless a last minute bottling...

They already had 2 rbs on their squad and when healthy and tempered controlled, Raphael smokes both of them.

I love bastian, but I don't think bastian is what united needed.

Depay I see more of a second striker player, similar to how Reus and Ronaldo play now. Depay could start off on the left wing, but essentially would be in the middle than be an out and out winger.

THey need a dm. Carrick is old and bound to get hurt again and Blind is blind.

United and Arsenal got big names, but the overall weaknesses still haven't improved much.

I hope he wont have same effect like Ballack did for us.

But Ballack was year younger, in MUCH better shape and with huge desire to win titles. Schweini won everything and all, thats the difference. But none the less, he is professional and one of those who gives absolute 100% in most games.
