Eden Hazard

Scoring shitload of goals and being consistent is keeping him apart from Messi or Ronaldo.

I think dribbling of Hazard is already fantastic and is 3rd best dribbler this season, skills and success wise, but I think he will never be goal scorer ala Ronaldo/Messi. He certainly has potential and 'could' do it, but he isnt natural goalscorer. He is natural dribbler though. His eye for pass is similar to Messi (it amazes me that Messi is as much striker as is great playmaker), Ronaldo is worse than Hazard in distributing ball to players (he is too selfish).

Hazard will be 20 goals winger per year, maybe 30 in peak, fantastic dribbler and the one who will be key player in our future trophies. Im happy with that.

Relax, they were pals back in lille, maybe he just wants to see him there personaly.

It doesn't matter, he made those comments public. He wouldn't talk about Messi or Ronaldo like that because Real & Barca wouldn't sell to PSG, he sees Chelsea as a club that would. It should be in-con-fucking-ceivable to him.

Well, that is rather obvious. This is no different to what the Barcelona players tend to do by publicly courting players from other clubs.

That actually makes my blood boil, who is Cabaye [insert any other PSG player] to be belittling Chelsea football club?, hope Jose addresses this to the press.

Cabaye didnt belittle Chelsea in any way, he didnt even mentioned us!

He just said Hazard would do wonders for PSG and Ligue 1. Which is true, by the way!

He didnt say Hazard must leave Chelsea because we are shit and London is horrible or anything like that. He just said he wishes Hazard could play for PSG...

"Hazard is the player I'd like to see at PSG. He would do a lot of good to Paris and the league. He's one of the best players against whom I've played."

He doesn't need to mention us, he said he wants Hazard at PSG, and the fact he didn't mention the word Chelsea makes it worse actually. He shouldn't be speaking about Chelsea players like that full stop, Hazard's name is 'in conjunction' with this club.

The problem is that french journalists are always speaking about PSG since they are a rich club.

Each time Hazard, even Mourinho, is interviewed by them "what do you think about PSG, blablablabla". Even if Hazard is belgian, he is a too much loved there and considered almost like a young-god for the achievement he made there.

So the journalists always put 1 + 1 together. They interviewed Cabaye and probably asked him "You will play vs chelsea against your former buddy in Lille, would you like to play with him again for PSG?" and that's it nothing more. He simply replied like everyone of us would have done "yes he is a great guy i wouldn't not mind him here"

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt then, it was of course the french media that leaked Mourinho's comments regarding Eto'o.

Yes their biais regarding PSG is awful. Eden can't come back to watch something in France without being asked about PSG.

José's interview you mentioned in french for the french TV was only about PSG. That was disgusting. Mourinho as a gentleman replied with some respect.

That looked more like a promotion for PSG in stead of a real José interview. That's always like that with them

Oh please, dont be so stupid!

Cabaye was just complementing Hazard and saying how he wishes PSG had a player of his great talent. He isnt denigrating Chelsea in any way...

I disagree, sorry...

Hazard is not better than Messi in any aspect of the game. Leo is the best technical player by a far margin and he is way more consistent than Eden!

Now, that doesnt mean Hazard isnt amazing. It just means that he still is far away from Messi's absurd level.

But would messi be as good as he is at a team like Chelsea?

depends. Do u mean Barcelona messi to chelsea or young academy Messi developing in Chelsea....

If you mean prime barcelona Messi, Messi would be the number 10 and score like 40 goals behind the main striker and take every set piece possible. Not as many goals as Barcelona, but definitely more than Eden.

Messi is the most consistent superstar player ever, but I think Eden is more exciting in a way, just as Ronaldinho was more exciting. Messi wants to be efficient, give assists and score goals, and occasionally will use his magic to get there. Ronaldinho and to a (much) lesser extent Eden, live to give the crowd something they never saw before. Ronaldinho invented moves, and did some crazy shit in his prime. Messi is a better player to have in your team, but Ronaldinho (and Maradona, to name another one) was a true artist of the game. Don't know which one I'd prefer Eden to become.

Btw, not saying Messi isn't a beautiful player of course, but you know where I'm getting at here. There's no signature Messi move, except scoring 90 goals in 12 months...

Most likely yes, Messi is the greatest player ever and the chances that Eden will reach that level is close to nothing.

For me Messi is one of a kind, a player you see once every 30 years.

So its abit unfair to Hazard to been expected to reach that level but i wont deny that he could be the best of his own generation.

Are you kidding me?

Of course more efficient, for all the trick and skills that he showed, Ronaldinho was never considered to be Goat.
