LOL... Ya its Mourinho's fault Hazard came into this season completely out of shape. You guys can protect him all you want the bottom line is he lacks the work ethic to influence big games. He's not the sort of player that elevates when the competition is at a higher level. I've never seen him play one decent game against strong opposition in the Champions League and in the Prem you can count his high level performances against the likes of Arsenal, Man Utd, City, Tottenham on one hand. He lacks the mentality to influence games when they need that little bit of magic dust.

Lack of mentality or not he's still our best player when he's fully fit.

WIllian is our best player if you ask me. Hazard is probably our most talented... He just doesn't show up for the big games. Fitness levels are his responsibility, he came into the season out of shape and has been playing catch up all season.

I'd sell him for 60m right now if we could.

Willian definitely is our best player this season but he was very underwhelming last season and the season before imo. This is his first season in which he actually has a decent end product.

Eden starts every season out of shape though, which obviously is a problem but that's not really a good reason to sell him imo especially after all the good seasons he had here. I'd much rather get rid of the players who simply aren't good enough like Oscar and Mikel.

Still think he's incredibly gifted and we'll be lucky to keep him. Probably not a prevailing opinion, but he's too good not to light up the footballing world.

When talent isn't met with solid work ethic and proper mentality it is often not realized. I have a sneaking suspicion Hazard doesn't have the killer instinct... His father knows it too which is why he was begging Mourinho to instil that quality into him.

Truly you can't coax a lamb to have the same killer instinct as a lion

I can see why, especially based on this season, you feel that. But you can see the talent he possesses when he is trying to do things on the ball, alas moral is low and confidence is simply not there right now - Incredible shame.

But I won't be in a rush to forget the 2014 Hazard that really did show his potential to light up the world. If him leaving is what it takes, that's an even bigger tragedy.

Yes 2014 Hazard who had Mourinho and Drogba coaxing every ounce of effort out of him. Now he's a shadow of that player, he just doesn't look anything like a player you can depend on game in game out. We can pray for a return to form but this is not exactly an anomaly, he rarely shows up for big games and on a team like Chelsea where we don't have the depth in squad to rely on others to pick up the slack he needs to be at or near his best more often then not, especially vs. stiffer competition in Europe. Do you remember one game at any point in his career where he bossed a big European game?

He almost single handed won us the title last season especially in the last few months. If Hazard had got injured last March there was no way we would have won the league he was the difference and we relied on him and him alone. You don't have to be an expert in body language to see he's unhappy but I believe he's not a lost cause and he might even thrive under Conte if he has better players around him because at the moment he has the likes of the clueless Pedro who might look good against the likes of Newcastle but against opposition like P.S.G. he looks like what he is extremely average.

Just dont do the same mistake as we did with Robben. Thats all Im saying. Its easy to say sell him when he plays bad, but everyone saw how good the kid can be.

I rather watch another season of shit Eden and then he turns it around and gives us few top years of football than selling him and watch him boss in another league like Robben.

The crazy part is that when we sold Robben, we were still playing CL football. Now it'll be tough to get a proper replacement.

Even for a player like Maherz, why would he give up playing in the CL to help struggling Chelsea? I understand Conte can convince some players to join him, but with someone like Hazard, it's a huge risk to just give up on him after a clusterfuck of a season where almost everyone fucked up.
