🇧🇪 Eden Hazard

He certainly needs to shoot more, but not to the extent where he's averaging 6 shots per game like C.Ronaldo/Bale. His shooting technique isn't as good as those two, therefore he shouldn't be given as much freedom as it would just be inefficient.

When I say shooting technique I don't mean in terms of quality, but the consistency of his shooting. When Messi strikes a ball, 9 times out of 10 the ball stays hit. Whether it be inside the box, outside, or at a tight angle, the shooting is crisp and with precision. With Hazard it's different. You'll see a spectacular left footed strike followed up by a tame side foot, followed by an audacious curling effort, and then a scuffed shot that is dragged wide.

Once his striking technique is consistent he will be twice the threat he is now, even more so as his left is almost as good as his right. Then there is of course the mental side. Being more decisive in the box, acting in instinct and not trying to over think things which he is sometimes guilty of when infront of goal.

National team coach Wilmots admires Hazard's workrate. Saying the player totally changed true the years. (read=after the hamburger-gate)

Couple years ago they said he was lazy at training sometimes.

Hazard said he can confirm that Mourinho is really 'the special one'. He awares that Jose wants to do great stuff with him, but insists all he needs to do is work hard and doing better every year, goals and assists will follow.

He is also glad that Romelu and Kevin are in the team now, saying he was sometimes lonely last year untill Demba Ba arrived.

He advises Romelu to work hard caus there are 3 good strikers now at Chelsea and they are still talking about Rooney to. "Better with Rooney then against him", is Eden having a laugh.

He also thinks Kevin will get plenty of playing time. He's lesser athletic then Romelu but has a great passing and vision. He impressed him in pre-season.

About his brother he's saying that he made the right choice going to Zulte again, but he needs to get another great season over there.

He doesnt really have to score so many goals since nearly all players in our team can score. He scored the best goals for Chelsea last season though, except for Oscar vs Juventus.

He does if he wants to be considered one of the best. Just look at Bale ..

Not necessarily. There have been plenty of players that didn't score much that are considered greats.

If Hazard adds goals to his game then great, but I don't want him to become a Ronaldo because Ronaldo basically seized his creative game to become a more efficient scorer. I don't want that to be the case for Hazard.

If Hazard was going to end up to score as much for us as Ronaldo for Real Madrid I wouldn't complain!

He plays like iniesta sometimes, not as intelligent, but he is faster, stronger, and has a ferocious shot that is was made for screamers. His attributes are obvious.

If he's not scoring 20-25+ goals a season eventually with time in chelsea, then it will seem like he didn't reach his full potential imo.

The whole team did. That was a piss poor second half for everybody

True but if he really wants to be compared to CR/Messi or even the likes of Ibra, RVP, Ribery etc he needs more consistency.

WC players play well even when the team doesn't. See Mata last season.....
