The whole overweight thing is a bit ridiculous, still remember photos of Juan Mata when he played here a few weeks before pre season here looking overweight too but there is always gonna be a percentage of players who will be out of shape marginally or a fair bit out after x amount of weeks off from training etc anyway to get a full break, not everyone has the same dedication as Cristiano Ronaldo. Also Marcelo's public comment about Neymar being better (maybe he is maybe not) still isnt what yous expect someone to say about their new team mate. If they said that about Ronaldo there would be absolute outrage but it seems pretty clear to me already Hazard is just another player to them. Same with Bale.

And Eden is def a better player these past seasons. As mentioned Eden will learn very quickly that he may have misjudged his new chapter. Brasilians are a total crap-shoot when it comes to squad poison. They always have the potential to blow shit up, more than most other nations, especially when they are talking to their native press. They are far too open with public criticism.

Marcelo has fallen of the cliff since the start of last season. Yet another 30yo and out fullback.

Yes he has been crap in all the games so far, but of course we will see hom do well come soon. But he wont enjoy life the way he did here, I doubt it. RM looking crap vs spurs.

if I was building a team and only 2 choices for manager were ZZ or Poch, it is Poch ALL day long

we are unfortunately fighting against the top 3 managers in the world atm in Pep, Klopp, and Poch, Simeone is number 4 for me

that all said, we have the perfect manager in Lamps for where we are at, and his history of goodwill with us

You said it man......not many Chels will admit it but Poch is really a good manager, would kill to have him here, Young and adaptable, a motivater, but sadly it will never come to be, fuck RM and zidane, they will soon see what a mistake they have done. Yes I too hope Lamps will do us lots and lots of good, he has the character and the ingame experience.....plus hes a true Blue. I say it again, fuck RM and their holy than thou attitude.

Los galacticos my ass. Yes a decade ago, when they have Figo, Raul, Zidane, Kaka, Robinho, Sneijder, Nistelrooy, Robben etc. They are lucky to have prime CR7 for years, carrying the team single handedly since then. Take CR7 alone from the team several years ago, I don't think they will win any CL title. Last season it's a big mistake not signing any replacement. This season, another big mistake if they think by signing Hazard will be enough to solve their biggest problem.

I don't know if I'm finally reaching the acceptance stage, but I'm now actually more excited to see how we'll play without him. For 6 years we were bordering on being a one man team and often it showed on the pitch, but now there will be no go-to guy. Like Frankie explained, the collective must compensate for that loss. I'm expecting to see great improvement in teamwork and cohesion.

Yeah definitely conflicted. I wish him the best but f*** I hate Real Madrid. Up there with Bayern and Barcelona for mine.

I think he will come good for them once he gets going. The weight gain is very unusual though. He has dreamt of playing for Real Madrid his whole life and he rocks up to their pre-season overweight? You’d think he’d be training hard on his break so he could make an impression and hit the ground running. Have to question Hazard’s mentality at times. He’s not a ruthless professional like CR7, so he will never get the best out of himself. I don’t think he ever reached his potential with us and I don’t think he ever will. We obviously saw frequent glimpses but he should’ve been scoring 20+ goals every season in the league. That’s how talented he is. Mind you it probably didn’t help when he was surrounded by absolute sh*t in the latter stage of his Chelsea days.
