Special Juan 28,868
What's wrong with discussing now, and his bad form? I mean everyone was talking him up when he was ripping up trees last year... and even his injury aside, what the hell was he playing at before his injury? Costa was bashed pre his really good form, the same questions are now been asked of Hazard...We have every right to question his form, it's not good enough, has not been good enough all season. Spike 12,049
Hazard is rubbish at this point in time. A completely one dimensional player; he either dribbles into the corner or dribbles into five defenders and draws a foul. That isn't something new to his game he has always approached with those two moves, the difference being he could pull a goal out of his arse before this season. He has never come across to me as an amazingly intelligent player (please don't get my wrong he is till quite clever), amazingly talented no doubt but I don't see particularly great decision making from him. He seemingly never knows when the best time to pass or shoot is. He looks a lot less like the wizard he actually is and more like Quaresma or Ben Arfa. Chelsea Legend 11 4,062
I'm hoping the big stage that is the Champions League lights a fire underneath him. He has without a shadow of a doubt let the entire organization down from the summer right up until now... Didn't stay fit, played a lot of games out of shape(still if you ask me) and has the worst body language of any of our players. There was a time he would demand the ball, now it looks like he's scared to see it at his feet. Incredibly talented but incredibly difficult to motivate too.  We need to see something from him on Tuesday is all hands on deck now. Atholy 1,293
I did myself a favor and haven't opened this thread in a month or 2-3... But I just can't believe what I'm reading here. It seems like everyone just lives on short terms! The amount of people on here that would love to sell him is astonishing! A gentle reminder to all that our whole team really sucked so far!!! Forgetting about the immense amount of talent Hazard has, simply because one off-season is really a dumb thing to do. All the guys shouting out it's time to sell him...  I hope you do realize that if you put Eden in Barcelona, Madrid or Bayern... He will finally play the game his made for and will surely become a serious Ballon D'or contender! But sure... why not... We don't need him here at Chelsea! We can have tons of other Attacking wingers on your wish list for Roman to pay for!! #whathappenedtoloyaltythesedays?!!!!! #thingslikethisreallymakesmewanttostopreadingforums Stats

Often looks disinterested and has one goal.... That is not just bad that exceeds Torres and Shevy in terms of futility, it is beyond shocking for a player of his pedigree who hasn't had any serious injuries and is in his prime years. I'm sure you can understand the frustration when our talisman has gone from best player in the EPL to ineffectual in a few months. chelseafan26

I'm sure you can understand the frustration when our talisman has gone from best player in the EPL to ineffectual in a few months. I absolutely agree on the fact that in a year like this... hopes are set high for the star players to drag us out of this misery! Eden should be one of them! I can also understand that people are really disappointed in the fact this isn't really happening! Football is all about emotions... I can respect that. But behind these emotions... people should always guard their common sense and put things in perspective! I think the only fair conclusion is that Eden is not ready yet to carry a whole team on his shoulders when things are really going bad! Now people can be disappointed about this. But maybe it was just a little bit too much to expect from a guy of his age (just turned 25!). Maybe we all just don't have a *** clue on what's going on behind those doors of the club! So to shout out we have lost all confidence in him... and wanting him to leave the club is just an awfully emotional reaction! I'm very sure that if this would happen... a lot of us will be kicking our heads when he 'miraculously' starts playing like a true star again in another team! And yes of course this will happen if he leaves!!

Same ways some fickle fans were jumping on the bandwagon to get rid of Costa and Fabregas now all of a sudden they are everyone's favourites. Just wait till Hazard performs. Short term memory is the thing round here. There is no denying he has been poor but in the long run, he will show why form is temporary, class is permanent. Just wait on it. Can't wait for people to eat their words. Atholy
Popular Post! Spike 12,049 Posted February 14, 2016 Popular Post! Share Posted February 14, 2016 Completely ridiculous. Hazard shouldn't be expected to carry a team nor should Chelsea rely on a player to carry a team. That is counter-intuitive to a team sport. The only player I'd ever even fathom to build a team around is Lionel Messi and at a stretch Cristiano. Hazard isn't anywhere near that level and he never, ever will be. Hazard is an exceptional player but he's plateau is the likes of David Silva not Cristiano and not Messi. People need to accept this as a fact. The only difference between he and Silva is that he has an astounding personality cult and hype train, people expect more from Hazard when they really shouldn't. That may sound like criticism to some but it really isn't. Silva is one of the most splendid footballers in the world and to be compared to him is only a compliment. People need to take a step back, appreciate him for what he is and stop pretending he is something he isn't. He isn't a goal machine nor is he an assist machine. He is just a very nimble, athletic winger that can turn something into nothing with his dribbling skills. I expect Figo levels not Messi. Roquila 1,335
Why is it bad to criticize Hazard but OK to criticize Costa? Or Fabregas? Or Oscar? All of them are players.
