Sir Mikel OBE 4,920
Heard He showed up overweight to preseason....again.   11Drogba, Unionjack, kellzfresh and 1 other
Special Juan 28,141
The money we got for him has been an absolute blessing. I wasn't gutted when he went but more deflated, but the way the club have used has been incredible. kellzfresh, Fernando and Unionjack
kellzfresh 7,229
So much talent just wasted because of lack of effort and desire. Glad someone with this attitude is not our best player again
Unionjack 7,531
Eden did wind me up at times. WHEN he was full of swag he was almost unplayable. But there were times he might as well been invisible. Hands on hips. Walking about looking at the floor. Then that interview he did after Conte said summet about motivating him. He said he didn't care what managers said as long as HE was happy with his game.I hope he gets it together. BXL70
Simon1991 233
Unbelievable he would come back overweight from off-season, AGAIN. Especially after a first disastrous season in Madrid. I just can't get my head around the fact he is not doing everything he can to give himself a chance to really succeed in his dream club. Such a shame Eden DDA, Unionjack and kellzfresh
BXL70 396
After a first disastrous season at Real Madrid, we'll see next season what he can deliver to RM. At the moment, it does not bode well. He is not fit and he decided to miss training with RM to join instead his teammates for Belgium for this Nations League that almost no-one bother about. And he did not play either because the coach of Belgium Martinez estimated he is not fit enough. And indeed he is again over-weighted following summer holidays. RM is infuriated and I can understand that given the fee they paid and his huge salaries. Although I very much like what Eden did for Chelsea, this situation does not displease me: it sounds as a warning for those stars that want to leave our club. They better have to think twice before leaving our club.  Unionjack, kellzfresh and Fernando
OneMoSalah 8,886
Wont get more than 15 goals for Real Madrid in upcoming season. The argument of him playing in a better team and with a proper LB when he was here was always an excuse in my eyes. No doubt hes a great player but he has barely done anything at Madrid with much superior players. kellzfresh and Vesper

They have an ageing squad and are in need of fresh blood. We definitely let him go at the right time though. Our squad is now much stronger/better partly because of the money we got for him. bigbluewillie, manpe, 0007 and 4 others
Sir Mikel OBE 4,920
Ruled out of the opener because of injury....cant imagine zidane starting him this match anyway if he was overweight. Â Imagine Hazard with KDB's work ethic. Â Â
Vegetable 830
I understand Real could be his childhood dream, but I wonder if he was aware of how his role will change after transfer. Probably as a child he dreamt of scoring goals and being an idol, what is exactly what he was here. He was a superstar in CFC, loved by fans and respected by teammates. In Real he is just one of many purchases, same as x other players no one really cares for more than a month if they won't deliver. Adding his cocky attitude to it, I guess it can be a huge let down for Hazard, both fall of his role in team and childhood dream crashing into reality, so maybe it's not like he has forgotten how to play ball or given up Drinkwater-style, but maybe he's just depressed? I can totally see him going somewhere else next season. Fernando
bigbluewillie 1,930
He was loyal to us and deserved the chance to try elsewhere with his dream being Real. He now knows that the grass is not greener on the other side of the fence, and realises he made a mistake. We on the other hand have moved on, and from now on don't need him. Fernando 6,585
I would also take him back. And hey Real Madrid let James go for a nice little price, maybe they would do the same with Hazard? King Kai and Atomiswave

Just think of how much Pulisic and Cho can learn from Hazard. He is only 29 after all.... He can carry games for us for another 4-6 years easily. When he starts losing pace he can easily slot into as CAM or CM tbh, ala Iniesta role.    Im dreaming I know. Miss Him! I cant deny that we got an absolute massive deal for him and it shows exactly how much we valued him, to hold out for a price that is €40M more then Dortmund is asking for Sancho.

I love him but i wouldn't take him back now. Pulisic has taken over LW and i wouldn't want to stick him in a position he's not half as effective to accomodate a near 30 year old Eden.
