OneMoSalah 9,108
Whats the point in having a world class player who cant be arsed? No disrespect to Eden but I think he should be embarrased by his perfromances except the Spurs game over the last good while. Add that to the two disasterous seasons under Jose and Conte.... Would rather an inferior player who is interested, doesnt seem to vanish whenever shit hits the fan and least of all is willing to try and change to suit a manager. Eden right now is not interested clearly. Not showing anything which youd expect from someone who many believed was the most inform player at the world cup and in Europe at the start of the season.  I really do think Real Madrid or any club will be mad to spend over 150m on him. He had 2 really bad seasons one year afyer winning the title being one of the most inform players in the league. Why would Madrid who are sitting behind Barca as it is and struggling want a player who can just turn it off as easily as that? Really struggling to see why folk want him to extent because hes just becoming infuriating more than anything. Real if they were to sign Neymar wouldnt even be interested either thats the funny thing. Johnnyeye, kellzfresh, DDA and 1 other

He's not world class IMO, not even close. I think because he's in the elite bracket we expect him to do these sensational things, when in actual fact he can't. He's just and up and down, in and out kind of player, that has the little bit of flair here there and everywhere and when he does something brilliant we all buy into it and start wanking ourselves daft. kellzfresh and Johnnyeye
Popular Post! kellzfresh 7,229 Posted January 31, 2019 Popular Post! Share Posted January 31, 2019 There are so many wingers we can take a gamble from now. Chiesa, Lozano, Pepe, Depay etc. We are the only top club that their best player openly expresses interest to leave the club. The other players look up to the best player and see he doesn't want to stay nor fully committed to the club. Our players in the past looked up to Lampard, Drogba, and Terry and saw stability. These current ones look at hazard and see uncertainty. No matter how we try to sugarcoat it, its a problem 0007, manpe, Johnnyeye and 4 others

Those recent comments sum him up really. He only turns it on when he is in the mood (that mood wavers a lot) and how can he, who I assume has at least some professional pride, not feel hurt when his own manager criticize? How can he not have the urge to prove him wrong? The fact that Hazard just brushed it off like it's nothing says a lot about his mentality. Content to just stay at the same level and not bothered to improve. This is a hard truth pill to swallow. There will always be a fear in selling him though given the lack of trust we have our board in utilising the funds effectively. Unionjack
Bosnian Blue 2,471
I don't blame him at all. He's been carrying this lot on his shoulders for years. My biggest regret is that we had this player probably in his prime but failed to build a strong team around him to challenge for the Champions League properly. He will leave in summer, its almost certain now. Hopefully that will at least force the board to start fresh, because there is no way we can replace Eden. Hamilton and Belgiannutt

It has been his problem since day 1 He gives us a glimpse of how good he has the ability to be then comes on the pitch minus his footballing head! He will do the same at RM. We should have cashed him in 2 years ago and used that £200mill wisely. Now we will deny his move and take what RM will let us have for him when his contracts almost done. MoroccanBlue 5,400
What's mad to think, is that since he's been here, we've never had a player that could match his influence in the third. Not since Mata.  Cheers Jose

Good and very good attacking players always come about. Regarding the CL, other than the game v Atletico when he played off Morata last season, has he ever been hugely convincing in the CL against top level opposition? As opposed to the form hes shown in the PL in certain bigger games? I think somebody alluded to that a few seasons ago when Neymar was stepping up for Barca when Messi was injured. Neymar in that Barca PSG second leg was one of the best individual performances I think I have seen. He was so decisive. Its quite odd we won a CL with a 35 year old Drogba playing 120 minutes and such a poor starting 11 compared to the teams weve had in recent seasons.

The board has ZERO quality to bring proper replacements. Spending isnt the problem, but what if we pull another ''Morata'' as Eden replacement ? Costa was replacable, but we couldnt make it work after he was sold. I said it when people wanted to get rid of Costa that it will be a mistake and we wont be as strong. Same shit will happen once Hazard leaves. And down down in the mediocrity we go.

Lol. Knee jerk reaction at best. He is in shit period indeed right now and I hate the way he plays these months with no urgency to deliver, but at his best he was downright unstoppable. Period. If he set himself to leave then he simply must go. Pointless to keep player like that who wont give 100% But he delievered in every season for Chelsea and is the best PL player for couple years now. If we could persuade him to stay, it has to be done. Lets not pretend once he leaves it wont hurt us. It will hurt like motherfucker because our board is incompetent to sign proper replacements and current lot cant take mantle from Eden. When Costa was here people said he should be binned and when we sold him, people realised we turned much worse. Same will happen once Eden leaves, x10. Popular Post! BXL70 400 Posted January 31, 2019 Popular Post! Share Posted January 31, 2019 Hazard said he doesn't care about the result, instead he just want to enjoy playing on the pitch. That's one of the reason why he'll never match Messi or Ronaldo. Go to RM, your dream, big headed Hazard, in exchange of large cash for our us. Good riddance. kellzfresh, DDA, Johnnyeye and 2 others

And your second sentence needs no addressing what so ever "Pointless to keep player like that who wont give 100%" Your preaching to someone as if I care if Eden walks, I really don't. If he stays fine, but if he fucks off to his dream club I will not shed a tear nor will I lose sleep. I won't comment on Costa it's not the thread to do so, he's another that's been and gone and the club and fans are still here. Interesting... Sure we cant do nothing to prevent him leaving, we are only fans. But we can form an opinion that he is extremely valuable player and anyone sane would keep him if there is a chance. Are you from london maybe? Because I think most of us start cheering for certain club because of the players. I became fan after watching Lamps, Terry,,... I know we all cheer for the club now no matter who plays, but its still the players (newer or older) that create that connection IMO.
