I'm optimistic he'll shut up all you clowns in this thread that called him 'rat' and 'traitor' and were so quick to turn your backs on him that you'd rather he was sold in the summer than give him another season to bounce back. And wait, I'm the 'delusional' one for praising Hazard and doubling down that he will return to the top next season? One bad campaign erases all the brilliance he has displayed 5 seasons prior going back to his Lille days?? I even stated he has had a horrendous season, (it happens) or did you not read that? In fact, you know what, go on and explain to me why I shouldn't be excited to see Hazard back in action scoring goals again? Please. I'm not here proclaiming Oscar will be 'BACK' after a hatrick vs MK Dons am I? I'm talking about Eden Hazard. have you ever seen him play? The memories of a squirrel you lot have, amazing. Top Where exactly did you see me ever saying something bad about Hazard? I don't give a flying fuck about player wars, which one is better or which is more fucking shit all I care is about the club going back to the winning ways with Balotelli or Messi, I really don't care. Some of you act like cunts and pricks. Some said a little while ago that everyone left the forum because the club is in the shape it is now. None left because of that but likely the majority simply got too tired reading so much BS on daily basis and making entitled posts about a player based on a game against a below average team. With that said, it's clear dark times are ahead when we started to sound like Liverpool. chelseafan26

Furthermore I believe most of these players might have a better season next. Like matic, Hazard, Costa and Fabregas. It was clear that everything was lost with Mourinho and he had to be gone. Conte seems similar like Mourinho except I hope he don't take the ego to his head and create stupid problems for nothing. That does not sit right and he can take those stupid ideas of creating conflict out of nothing to his next club. But if Conte is to succeed and his a similar style to Mourinho, please keep your ego to yourself.

Many different individuals have been benched after bad performances this season or not been playing due to injury(Ivanovic) but the results have always remained the same. We could have had Messi and it wouldn't have made a big difference. This goes to show that we lacked qualiy as a team much more than quality in individuals. -- I hope Eden plays every game till the end of the season to raise his confidence going into next season. It wouldn't be good for his confidence if we benched him today and for the rest of the season and he started the next one with no goals in ages. A good end the season could be vital to him before the euros as well. And btw, anyone still remember the banner at the sunderland game that called Hazard, Costa and fabs rats? Well the spanish boys have somewhat turned it around and I will be curious to see that woman's attitude towards all three of them come the next season. And its not that she(and many others) called them shit, they called them rats. Talk about idiocy. As Terry said, Hazard is Chelsea's Messi, take a look at Barcelona when Messi's not at his best, they are a different team. So it's not mind blowing that the same goes for Chelsea. Last season he made the difference in numerous games, imo. Schurrle once said that there's no other player here who gets the freedom Hazard gets, some even believed that he's Chelsea's only player who deserved the tag 'superstar'. I agree that others have also been very poor and disappointing, but that doesn't make it any better for the current Premier League's best player, imo. He is also the club's best paid player, with money there comes responsibility, but he doesn't lead, he went into hiding this season. But we all relied on him! Why should Hazard get the nod over Kenedy who has always given his best so far? I know Guus thinks differently. I don't get it, but that's the way it is. Life's just not fair! In my view the banner 'the three rats' were justifiable at that time, the actions of the players had consequences, some of them deliberately sabotaged the club and that lead to the sacking of one of our loved ones. Loyalty has and always will be a two way street, the fans ain't stupid, if some of the players don't give a rat's ass about us, the fans, then we'll react. Why should i regret any of it?! The damage was already done, no coming back from, no recovery, no silver lining, impossible to get back into the top spots. The players can't make up for this shit with a few nice games, even next season, there's not UCL for Chelsea, why?! Just because some prima donnas couldn't keep it in their pants, we're talking about grown fuckin' men, unbelievable. Quote 'Well the spanish boys have somewhat turned it around' I don't think so! PSG, second leg, more precise the last 30 minutes, the going got though and what about Cesc Fabregas?! He didn't inspire, lead, he simply threw the towel early and accepted what's coming, and don't even get me started about that game against Everton. Utter disgrace! How is that turning it around, we're getting fucked again and again, just take a good look at Swansea, City.... The problem is still there, we're not half as good as some of the players/fans think we're and that's where the problems lie. And on top of that, the trust is gone, who can guarantee that history doesn't repeat itself?! Exactly, no one and that's bad, imo. What do i suggest? I would sell, but we all know Chelsea, totally unpredictable. I don't think it's healthy to trust some of the well paid guys. That's all i have to say and i don't think that's all made up out of thin air. Regards! chelseafan26

Zidane knows Hazard can get back to his best and that is why interest will remain. Hopefully Conte and everyone at Chelsea all collaborate to make sure Hazard is a Chelsea player next season. I wouldn't sell him at any costs because I think it is pivotal he is here next season as we will not get better like for like replacements. Gilvorak 3,734
You have to be a huge idiot to think no one would shell £30m+ on Hazard because of one bad season in his entire career. Manchester United/Arsenal/Tottenham/City/Liverpool would happily pay that fee and then some if he was transfer listed tomorrow.

If he turns up vs Leicester wearing flip flops and sipping a pina colada that would be a different story but expressing a simple preference is not something the FA can, or even should, do anything about. Iggy Doonican 4,186
You really are not allowed to give an honest answer these days about anything without someone taking offence. Basically ''Who do you want to win the league Eden Rottenham or Leicester?'' answer Leicester. It stems from the Twitter Nazi's who seem to want to drown out debate and have there opinions set in stone ( no more then 140 characters though ) Fulham Broadway and Muzchap

It sounds like if the title's decided on the last day, they would go easy on Leicester just because they don't want the Yids to win it. And people wonder why there's so much hate for Chelsea. This one is not on Mourinho! A rivalry is fair and square but this is something else, that's not fair play. For the competition and neutrals that's a disgrace to the sport, imo. These days players get punished because they post something on Twitter, so in this case you'll never know with the FA. I don't want Tottenham to win it and yes, i hope we make it easy for Leicester, but i get where people are coming from and Hazard shouldn't have said that out loud. Maybe it's part of his rehabilitation attempt, he knows that he's fallen from grace and want to make up for it, therefore he tells the fans what they want to hear.
