Being below his absolute maximum level but still able to produce a performance is exactly how you'd want it to be. No player is going to be right on it all the time. In fact, more often than not they won't be. What you need are players who still do well for the side even on their average days. Not everyone is going to be a Hazard, we all understand that, but too many members of our squad are only really good enough when at their best. On their average days they are short of something. He's one of the greatest talents of his generation, if not the greatest. He deserves a better platform to show his ability, not in spurts against mid table sides.
