That's not true, this transfer was delayed a lot because of Olympic games. Even before they started Hulk went out and said that he doesn't think about his future and will do it once the Olympic games are done.

I don't care how you treat and look other football clubs, it's your thing, but I will tell you I respect fans who love their club and respect others. Some Napoli fans we came across with the forum twinning have really surprised me pleasantly and even after we've defeated them they came, congratulated us and wished us all the best.

That said, when an opposition fan comes and start slating and attacking Chelsea, I will of course, throw arguments away and blow his sorry ass away, but if he comes calm with good arguments, I am more then pleased to have a good discussion with him. In the end, we are all human beings and the only difference is that we support different football teams...

first of all i never said anythin bout any porto fan or for that matter any other club's fans. also i dont understand y i am getting a lecture on other club's fans and wat they do on some forums because all i did was make a post on chelsea's forum and i am a chelsea fan and expect most of the people here to be so too. i made a statement about porto's transfer policy which you have dragged thru for 2 pages now for some unknown reason.

btw even before the olympics hulk had made it clear that he would like a move to pl (not chelsea) but i definitely remember it was before the olympics.

I think he understands your point, think you have missed his... valuation is based on availability. We want him and they don't want to sell; the result is a vastly inflated fee. Each and every transfer is unique (see RVP price for example), and can not be compared to past or future purchases.

But I tend to agree with you, there is better value to be had in the market, so with that in mind I believe this fee to be excessive.

I agree. There are players out there to be had. I was praying with every bone in my body we would go after Reus before BVB nabbed him. Would have been a great fit. No point in discussing that now though.
