What is wrong with your logic man?

We bought Hulk and Hazard to play attacking football including against teams like RM or Barca. Not putting them on bench and play anti-football!

this season, we had to play defensibly against

Barca or Bayern because we had no attack. Now with Hulk and Hazard, we will play against Barca or any team with RM style, possesion, fast moving, counters, attacking, creative football.

And again, you would bench Hulk and Hazard on lets say CL final, most inportant match against Barca or RM and play with Ramires and Kalou just because they can defend better?

Fuck that, you need to start thinking more about attacking football, not just this damn defensive style. I bet Mou isnt thinking, he will bench Ronaldo and play Coentrao just because Coentrao can defend better.

We play defensive because we had shit attack, now with 70mio spend in attack, I expect to see Bayern or Barca attacking style in all our matches!

Absolutely we bought them to play attacking football and I think we are in for a treat next season with the style of play we will be employing but no to fight fire with fire against Barcelina or Real Madrid is a ridiculous notion.

Not both, but definitely 1 if we were to play Madrid or Barca so that we could play with a 3 man midfield with Ramiresorividing vital running duties. If course both Hazard and Hulk could start with Msta being sacrificed by Ramures, either way, if we were to play Madrid or Barcelina you won't see Hazard, Hulk, Mata and Torres all in the pitch at the same time unless we are chasing a goal. That sounds great except Mou has a midfield of Alonso and Khedira and the best player in the world on his left flank, also he has occasionally opted for the defensive route in games against Barcelona.

I agree, our attack should be vastly improved and it should concern lots if top teams but, inevitably, Barcelona or Real Madrid would still feel they have the attacking initiative going into a game against us.

or

I'm not saying we don't and I think Hazard and Hulk (and Marin and De Bruyne) are all excellent additions and should form a potent attack that could lead us to winning the Premier League. I am simply saying that, inevitably, we, like any other side, would have to adopt a more defensive approach than we normally would were we to play Barcelona or Real Madrid.

Yes i would expect us to be much more like united in that regards, especially at home and turn the screw on weak opponents. 1 or 2 becomes regularly 3 or 4-0

And that is still possible even if we buy Hulk aswell. Bertrand did a good job as winger in the finals. Ramires can play as DM with Mikel etc.

It comes with having a lot of money and going for the best you can get, the same thing happens to City, Real, PSG and the other clubs that are well known to spend whatever it takes. At least the club is actually buying quality and wasting money on average English players with inflated prices or ending up with the third or fourth choice for the right wing because we didn't want to pay more than 25 mil.

That's true, and somehow that makes me angry. I am happy with the things that happend after he got sacked, but I do still think that he deserved something better.. and with these players, his tactics would be awesome if just the other players gave him a chance. But as most of you said before, his tactics didn't work out with the squad he had, so why didn't he just wait?
