That attack came immediately after another attack by them (can't remember what exactly happened) and I believe Luiz dealt with that pretty ok. Then we gave it away (did we?) and the defense as a whole was in shambles with no idea what was going on. But I don't know what he was thinking with the Petrov goal.It looked like the Villa player on the ball was about to dribble into the box, Raul Meireles was too late to close him down, there wasn't enough pressure on the ball from the midfield so Luiz felt he had to cover the space that the Villa player (Agbonlahor I think) looked like he was about to run into.
