HELL NO. HE WILL BE QUITE EXPENSIVE GIVEN THAT HE SIGNED IN JANUARY.CAVANI IS STILL OUR BEST OPTION

Why do we need to buy a star striker next season? Torres is coming back on form, lets get Dan boy in the middle plus we could use Lukaku as backup or if Drogba doesnt go then we got 4 strikers. We have been playing with the lone striker up front dont think it would change. What we need is proper midfield, invest the money in good midfielders rather than strikers!

U want 30+ goals from Torres/strikers, get a proper midfield who can feed your strikers.

Yeah but if we are overhauling squad, getting a striker in is a very good option because a good target striker can win the club points on his own. if we are desperate late on, we can just stick the ball up to the striker and torres nor sturridge is good enough to be a targt man. that is not a must though. investing on a right back and a couple of wingers and a CM is the priority

Cisse was just incredible last night. Both his goals were fabulous goals and well I guess Newcastle deserved to win.Their performance showed that they deserve to play in the Champions League and having beaten teams like Manchester United,Liverpool and now Chelsea, its time they start playing with the European elites.

So,we're not going to finish 4th this season but we still have a chance to qualify for the Champions League.I just hope for Newcastle sake that they finish 3rd and not 4th because there is a strong possibility of us winning the Champions League and it'd be very sad to see Newcastle finish 4th and still not play Champions League football.

We weren't bad ourselves and always looked to equalize and get a winner from there on but their second goal just killed us off.It truly was an incredible goal, probably the Goal of the season so far but still our performance was alright.

I am sure we'll bounce back from this loss and play better in the FA cup Final.Sad to see Chelsea lose but oh well, must move on.

Not moaning about the result but more so of the performance. Just couldn't believe how comfortable we made it for Newcastle to defend against us. Despite them defending well as a unit, not once in the game we put them under any sort of incessant pressure and Tim Krul has hardly gotta do anything. And arguably the most disappointing thing of all is, none of the likes of Sturridge, Malouda and Meireles really staked a claim to start in Saturday's final. They were just being their usual crappy self.

Also, just to add, this defeat was our 4th at the Bridge this season and it's the first time since the 01/02 season that we have suffered that many defeats at home. Fortress? What fortress?!

As much as Cisse finished well for his 1st goal, it could have been prevented. Just look how easy Santon cut inside & passed to Cisse!

Play Sturridge & Bosingwa on the same side and it's pretty much an accident waiting to happen. A defensive combo disaster.

Also if you watch Brana is guilty of ball watching and not getting a bit closer to Cisse.

Didn't watch the Game. Dissapointing result, but after the tremendous run of results we've had, a loss was bound to occur. We'll have to win the UCL now, so he can rest players in the Liverpool and Blackburn games, which is the only positive that came out of today's loss. Hope we Trash the scousers and win the FA Cup!

Yes. He was left in acres of space when that ball came in AND throughout the whole game, neither Terry nor Ivanovic looked comfortable in dealing with Cisse & Ba. The amount of times Ba was able to get the ball unchallenged upfront was pathetic IMO.

Totally agreed. I would of thought a clear instruction would have been given to someone like Mikel or Ramires to pick up on Cisse you dont need to be a rocket scientist to see the man is in amazing form. Mark him out the game and the game would have had a totally different outcome. Oh well whats done is done. Would have like to see the Drogba and Torres partnership for a longer period of time.
