only like 43% of londons population is native to Britain, so you can't expect London to vote for Brexit. Similar things may be the case in German Cities

The banning of the Catalan referendum will back fire on Madrid in the long term.

The next El Classico should be lively

There is no way Catalonia will remain a part of spain. Not after this violence.

Madrid obviously wont agree, and it will turn ugly. .

Catalonia has its own parliament and is eligable to launch referendum, which was violently repressed by spanish police.

But at this point, catalans dont give shit about referndum, tomorrow they will announce independency.

On another note, where will barca play is not even relevant when comes to such discrimination of peoples rights.

Not so sure, there has been violence before -bombing campaigns, purges, even though the four provinces have now voted 90% in favour of independence, Cortes Generales will not give it up easily.

Madrid will try to reach a compromise, and try to avoid the eyes of the World seeing more violence

Yup we know this, we all saw the scenes

Barcas administrators have tried to distance themselves from most of it, they will play as usual

THE Spanish government has announced further plans for totally ballsing up, it has been confirmed.

Amid scenes of chaos and police violence, the Spanish government has said this is just the start of their plans to totally bollocks up this whole Catalan referendum thing.

Spanish PM Mariano Rajoy said: “The most responsible and democratic thing to do when confronted with a region’s desire for independence is to declare it illegal, throw people in jail and start cracking skulls. That’s just democracy 101.

“But after that, we’re thinking about shooting protesters with rubber bullets, attacking firefighters and telling them that they can’t have ‘El Clasico’ any more if they leave.

“What? We’ve already done all those things?”

“Well then yeah, we’ve done all we can to balls this situation up at this moment in time.”

Catalan Josep Alcaniz Matoses added: “I actually wasn’t sure about us being independent from Spain.”

“But seeing as they’ve said it’s illegal for me to even have a choice and the police are going to kick our heads in for even wanting to, they’re really making the decision for me.”

Jeez that shooting Las Vegas beyond awful.

The US so badly needs to address mental illness and gun control issues more seriously.

Thoughts with the families of the victims...

Just a depressing disease in the US. 273 mass shootings this year, 33 000 killed by guns every year.

Cue the regurgitating repetitive defence of guns -the weapon of the coward

The thing is talking about guns is the easy to do. But it's really more complex than just that because a )banning guns does not make them disappear and b )the US is not nearly the only country in the world where a large portion of the population are armed to the teeth. For example in Lebanon it would be hard to find a household without a rifle in it but we've only ever had one mass shooting in post civil war history in the 90s.

That's not at all to defend their insane gun laws. I'm an anarchist but even I can't for the life of me understand why normal citizens would need assault rifles.

But the difficult thing to do would be to look for the root causes of so much widespread violence in the richest nation in history, particularly among the most privileged and dominant demographic that are white makes but also look at how mental illness is treated by society as whole.

Mass shootings related to civil warfare happen in many countries.
Also armed robberies happen every day.
Mass shootings totally unrelated to politics or gang crime seem to happen only in the USA.
Obviously free gun ownership causes it.
The only thing to do is prohibit arms and anyone who owns arms and does n't hand them in will be breaking the law.

I believe those mass shooters are exactly the types NRA members want to defend themselves from.
It's not as if the NRA says "let's arm the mass shooters". This is not the case.
But their idea has proven to be a big fail. Nevertheless they want to keep selling them, it's pretty obvious, so they even elected their own president.
