Saw that Choulo - how have you managed to upset them ?  :D when every other country sucks up to them, ( like Macron over there now).

Meanwhile they have slaughtered and created the Worlds biggest famine in Yemen....

If it weren't real, it would be hilarious. Actually, it's funny either way!

The rumors are that macron is there to try and get them to release Hariri (our PM).

But the thing is, Hariri is a Saudi citizen (dual national) and was already mostly their puppet. He is the leader of the biggest Sunni party in Lebanon, but apparently he hasn't been extreme enough for their taste (who is??!) and has tried to distance his party too much from religious fanatics, so they took him hostage, forced him to announce his resignation and were trying to replace him with his brother who they think they can push further to the extreme. Basically, they want someone who is willing to take the country into civil war if they ask him to and Hariri was not.

They actually think they can just sack our PM and replace him with his brother. I mean our democracy is flawed, but come on! This isn't the middle ages.....or 21st century Saudi Arabia!

Yet the noises we're hearing in the corporate media, (owners of whom obviously represent the people most to benefit from Saudi 'deals' <_<)is that the House of Saud want's to modernise and not be such a radical 'kingdom' - that obviously doesn't apply to it's stooges....

Facebook selling peoples details - Lol it's called 'Life Invader' in GTA V for a reason.

I've always wondered why I sometimes get an e-mail that somebody tried to reset my password on facebook. Luckily I have 2-step verification so they get no luck. Happened to anybody else? It happens like once a month. However once somebody from Malaysian IP logged into my instagram which is connected to facebook and I don't have any extra security there. Very much doubt my computer is compromised, I pay great attention to security, so this has got me suspicious.

Things will only get worse. Just wait when biotech companies get all personal data.

"For all the fear of missing our privacy and our free choice, when consumers have to choose between keeping their privacy and having access to far superior healthcare — most will choose health."

That's an interesting piece. I was reading about biotech companies and  how US Pharma are constantly 'discovering' plants and substances in the wild, especially in the Amazon region, patenting them, so no one else is allowed to use them !

Maybe most people are aware of the algorithms quantifying and using our data, every click, every 'like' but are not that concerned but maybe they should, as you say when the stark choice is health or privacy. ''practices such as democratic elections will become as obsolete as rain dances and flint knives.'' and ''As long as you have greater insight and self-knowledge than the algorithms, your choices will still be superior and you will keep at least some authority in your hands''. You can lead them down the garden path by falsely liking things, and having various 'identities'. Other political activists have the attitude -they know all about me -so what ? There is no doubt the algorithms will become more the norm, more specific, and humans in control of the data add another dimension. The only way round it if you don't want to be analysed is log out, permanently. That is a difficult choice for most, where at least 50% of interaction is via online communication.

DONALD Trump has expelled 60 top Russian adult movie stars from the US in response to the Stormy Daniels TV interview.

The White House confirmed the move saying that Trump had hand-picked the actors to be repatriated from a list that just happened to be on his computer.

A White House spokesperson said: “If we let these Russian performers stay then we run the risk of more hard-hitting hour-long interviews about the president’s slug-like naked body, and how it looks like 250 pounds of raw sausage meat removed from its casing.”

Russian porn actor ‘Angel Delight’ said: “It’s very unhelpful, especially as I’ve been lined up by the Kremlin to be the next president.”
