I certainly hope not.

Horrible, fickle, self righteous, egotistical cretin!

I think he often makes good points worth considering, but there's just something about him I don't like. No, not that he's a bit of loon and not even that he's a West Ham fan! There's something about him that's not very genuine. He just doesn't strike me as a likable trustworthy person. :dunno:

I think it's summed up by this: "War crimes is a big word...but I did shoot at random civilian targets sometimes, just for fun, so yeah..."

The worst part is not the crimes themselves but the mentality and frame work that make them normal.

I bought the book btw and it is a MUST read. It has a great analysis in it next to all the witness reports.

You can be arrested and serve up to 6 months in prison if caught taking a selfie in a polling station whilst voting.

@Fulham Broadway, on the tiny differences that could make an actual change that I was talking to you about yesterday, a good example from today is the US appeals court ruling that the NSA bulk surveillance program is illegal. All 3 of the judges who ruled it illegal were appointed by democratic presidents. How different would the result be had they been judges hand picked by republicans?

Exactly, and none of it would have been revealed without Edward Snowdon. A whistleblower that both Republicans and Democrats would like to be locked up and silenced. Small differences in parties in neo liberal states with mixed economiès in reality make very little difference to the majority of people.

However on the positive, I am sure its a better alternative than residents of Saudi or Mynamar are given.
