We Hate Scouse 10,327
LOL That was quick...I don't see why that's such a bad thing. There's people that absolutely don't need to live in council houses, but do because once upon a time they had a struggle and now don't want to pay more for private accommodation. Why should my taxes be paid for someone that earns more than me to live a cheap life, whilst there's people waiting for 2-3 years to get council houses that have a genuine need for them. Those people having to travel around hostels because there's no where else for them. There's definitely a need for a revamp in the council housing system, nobody should get a council house for life. They should be for those that need them and once they have found their feet and can survive without them, they absolutely should be moved out. There needs to be strict guidelines in place and a fair criteria. Chels
cosmicway 1,333
The Labour idea that working classes will benefit from nationalizations and from high taxes is defunct anf hence their predicament.A party that cares for the working people is needed, but why have nationalization and lame duck industries ?Also the high levels of taxation tend to hurt everybody and not just the rich. Also in business things what matters is not an industrialist's personal wealth but the future of the particular investments he makes. Thus if I am a rich man and I open a chain of candy shops in the tube stations, I 'm going to ask my lieutanents "what are those shops doing ?" and if the taxman's axe is heavy, I close them down and make the workforce redundant. The left do not understand these simple things and they never will. The Tories are more clever. They tend to be one sided but more clever. Fulham Broadway 17,333
Labour have not pledged to renationalise anything, so thats wrong for a start.Tories are more clever ? No, real ones are chinless inbreds with inherited wealth who want everyone else to be greedy and selfish, thus theres no collective fightback. If thats 'more clever' they can shove it. Iggy Doonican 4,186
FROM NEWSTHUMP. Cameron urges UK to unite against the poorPrime Minister David Cameron returns to Downing Street with a pledge to unite the country against the poor, the old and the sick.“This morning, I return to office with a renewed vigour to lead this great country and unite its people as one against all the ghastly poor people.”“Working together, I feel confident that we will be able to make everyone who is sick, old or poor feel like the abject wasters they truly are.”The Tories were returned to office with a stunning majority after everyone shat themselves about the SNP and Labour’s fictional ‘mishandling of the economy’.Under a Tory Government, poor people face a well-deserved future of food-banks and perilous housing situations, but luckily, under the Tories will pay less tax on the money they don’t earn which is sure to be a comfort.“If these so-called poor people don’t like living in a country that vilifies and hates them,” continued Cameron speaking from a diamond encrusted lectern outside Number 10.“Well, they can just jolly well clear off somewhere that’s willing to tolerate their constant whinging about being hungry and having scurvy. France, probably.”He then entered the official Prime Minister’s residence, stopping only to kick a cleaner up the arse and laugh at her. Badboy 1,526
Most did, 66% but theyre divided, and thus ruled by the Eton Bullingdon club. The Divide and Rule trick has neen used since Ancient Rome. They voted for anti immigration, (ukip), Labour (tory lite), SNP -(nationalist, traditionally Labour voters, but now SNP because labour have moved further to the right). Some voted conservative (the working class true enemy, and these aspirational wannabes are turkeys voting for christmas), and some voted Green.Did you vote badboy ? Arent you working class or are you proper posh ? I am not posh but i'm probably in the top 10% of income earners in the UK. cosmicway 1,333
In the economic sphere, the system works as follows:The Labs are out to collect taxes from the Tories. Things are engineered so Labour tax victims are those who vote for the Cons. If you are a star Lab supporter and you are affected by Lab tax laws, they try to fix something for you. The tax supremos are working things out so things do not deviate significantly from the pattern. From the other side of the fence, things proceed in exactly the same way. Simply invert the words Lab and Con in the previous sentence. This time the Tories won, next time who knows. What nobody does and will never do is cut down taxes uniformly and across the board. So if the "x" person, who may be of any political persuasion, makes 1000 pounds, they will not become 800 by the time he turns the street corner, but will become 900 say.We are all being mugged. CHOULO19 24,332
Basking in his election victory, Prime Minister David Cameron unleashed this Orwellian decree to explain why new Thought Police powers are needed: “For too long, we have been a passively tolerant society, saying to our citizens ‘as long as you obey the law, we will leave you alone.'” It’s not enough for British subjects merely to “obey the law”; they must refrain from believing in or expressing ideas which Her Majesty’s Government dislikes.https://firstlook.org/theintercept/2015/05/13/greatest-threat-free-speech-comes-terrorism-claiming-fight/ Good luck with that, Britain... cosmicway 1,333
That censorship thing can go crazy.Once upon a time during junta I was strolling down Syntagma square with a friend. He was studying maths and he said something or other about not liking one of the subjects.I said in England we have the units and you make selection of the units you want each year.A car revved up and he heard "election" instead of selection. So he turns yellow and says to me "no, no, please, please don't say such things ...".But we also do have some who ought to be locked away for their own good. There is the one with Auschwitz-SS songs. I 'm not sure he is still on the lose but he was a couple of years back.
