Liverpool destroying them, City can't do anything. Pep needs to shake things up at HT. Laporte at LB camping back to contain Salah is hampering their attack, might be replaced.

Now this is how you take the game to one of the big boys , this is a perfect game by Liverpool (so far) not our much hyped display against Barcelona. Conte will never ever do with Chelsea what Liverpool is doing to City right now.

Guardiola will need to change his formation back to a 4-3-3, bring in Sterling and sub out one of the back 3. It's a shame Aguero can't play

Exactly. It's pure hype-fuelled BS when people claim that we 'need' the best-of-the-best to compete.

Look at that Liverpool midfield; look at it! Chelsea fans would be having a real tantrum if we were putting that out against anyone better than Watford, and yet look at what they are capable of producing in the right set-up, with the proper coaching, and with the correct mentality.

The board bear some of the blame for what has happened this season, sure, but Conte's endless 'need' to emphasise our squad's apparent inferiority at every opportunity appears to have been the key ingredient to our failure so far this season. Enough. We have Hazard, Kante, and Azpilicueta, all of whom can be supported quite ably by players like Morata, Giroud, Willian, Alonso, Christensen, and Rudiger. Our squad has some (serious) flaws in it, no question, but it is SO much better than Conte has made it seem to be for the majority of this season.

Remember we had a chance to go for Klopp if we sacked Mourinho earlier than we did during the 15/16 meltdown. On this forum. I was calling for Mourinho's sacking and going for Klopp at all cost. Another one our board messed up

Football matches are situational. Klopp has had his share of bad decisions/games, just like Conte, just like any other manager. Let's not get carried away.

That doesn't make much sense. We're talking about the 2017/18 season in which Conte has been outcoached by Pep, Poch, Klopp and Jose. "Football matches are situational". That's just a cliche/buzzword that means nothing. So because every manager has good and bad times we shouldn't criticize Conte's bad times? What are you talking about.

if salah is off Liverpool simply cannot compete at this level. Aside from the remarkable effort from all players, most if not all key moments come from salah.

That’s key player right there who make and average team a much better team.

City will come back and prob play better. They will Move around more and finally connect some passes. Though folks are seeing how their D and middle crumble under pressure... can’t mske people unsee that.

Yeah, okay. They lost Coutinho and barely even felt it. Klopp isn't a manager that gets carried by one single player. Look at his Dortmund teams as well and the high overturn in players season in season out. He just kept on rolling. It's his footballing philosophy that makes his teams' so dangerous.

Notice how high they press City when they are trying to pass out from the back. Even with 3 CB's Man City are not being allowed to breath. Conte's teams are happy to sit back, defend deep and let the opposition recycle the ball and build from the back, just like last weekend against Spurs.  The word "high press" doesn't exist in Conte's football dictionary. It's a tactic he rarely employs which makes his cautious approach even more unbearable to watch
