Carragher is spot on, playing a lone roll as a striker you have to be ready to put everything on the line to succeed and win out.

Take Costa v Sporting the other night, he wasn't amazing but he was effective. He dropped deep and gave it easy as well as fetching others into play- He also hunted down brilliantly....Balotelli didn't do that and doesn't do that. He's already cutting a frustrated figure up front and it's showing massively.

This was a poor signing and I say that even at this early stage.
