Just watched the Leipzig goals from last night and christ, United's defending for the 2nd and 3rd goals especially was atrocious. Holes and mistakes everywhere in that defence.

Also, maybe he's caught up in this whole dumpster of a fire that is United right now but Wan-Bissaka is not that great, is he? He's still young and can obviously improve but don't think he has so far since moving to Old Trafford. Look more and more defensively suspect and lack so much in his offensive game.

Have been voicing this out since last season....To me he has been average at best for United....offensively he is shit while he looks great sometimes especially against big teams while they play low block but he seems a defensive passenger though that can be attributed to coaching and defensive structure of the team...

Even the United fans are piling on him now...

Yeah Imagine if we were allowed transfers in 2019, he was one of the names being circulated for RB

Few here wanted him too but his lack of attacking nous put people off. He hasn't excelled defensively either apart from few rigid marking jobs he has done

Wasn't it like he had a really good season in Palace and pretty much disappeared, when moved to united?

I recall he was called a viable alternative to TAA for a moment.

It's a bit of a myth him being great defensively, he's excellent 1 v 1 against a winger close to the touchline but he's awful in the air and has no positional sense (it's why he never gets put at RCB when OGS goes back three).

To be fair, he did do well at Crystal Palace, albeit in a team that are pragmatic and defensive under Hodgson. At a big club, more is always expected out of full backs and his limitations as well as flaws are getting exposed. Doesn't help I guess that there is also a clueless manager in charge. Hard to pinpoint anyone who has improved under Solskjaer.

The ironic thing about that is Luke Shaw gets thrown to LCB from time to time and then went AWOL for Leipzig's 2nd goal yesterday.

It has been said many times but that transfer ban really was a blessing in disguise.

Yes! if you look at stories published at the time - names like Youcef Atal, Wan Bissaka, Coutinho (to replace Hazard), Luka Jovic etc. None of them is an upgrade on the current crop

From an Arsenal supporter:

I can’t believe what I’ve just watched. That was perhaps the worst refereeing matchday of all time. Rashford got a silly pen the other week by just being barged and were just given an even more ridiculous one. What on earth was that call, why didn’t VAR come in. And don’t get me ****ing started on that Maguire handball. These apes at VAR don’t even check ****ing replays properly? We saw this vs Leicester when these absolute imbeciles didn’t even check the proper angles for the Xhaka ‘offside’.

Someone needs to stand up and raise these points, it’s so dumb. And someone also needs to comment on United, these guys are taking the ****ing piss with all these decisions going their way right now. They’re becoming the new Uefalona. Handed two goals tonight by them, I don’t think 99% of refs would have given either of those goals in any other game. Imagine arsenal getting decisions like that
