That's something we should discuss after the City game because if Bayern wins tonight and City will win against Roma, then the h2h won't matter anymore and the goal difference will be the tie breaker as Roma will have the advantage over CSKA (5-1, 1-1), City over Roma (1-1, win in Rome) and CSKA over City (2-2, 1-2).

Ok that makes sense now. City mustn't lose today and they'll be OK as long as they get points in Rome.

For City to go through, CSKA loss in Munich, City draw/win today and City win in Rome if draw today. Though, City must rely on CSKA losing to Munich. Either way, City need at least 4 points between today's and Rome away game assuming CSKA lose to Bayern.

I was saying that I was feeling too much complacency by Bayern side.

This same thing can happen to us in the PL, that's why Mourinho talks about not getting complacent.
