He would be great buy. Very versatile, he can play DM and is good at destructing oponent play. Also good as pair with Gaitan and Aimar. Very good passer and creates goal chances and starts lots of actions. Sometimes he plays attacking more. I can see him easily in our squad. Strong, balanced, decent speed and very, very good dribbler as well. He doesnt complicates, but just simple dribles his oponent.

Him, Cabaye or Mvila is my choice. About his tackle, as long as his head is calm, good. Could happen to anyone. The guy is realy friendly, has good attitude.

Just off topic even Benfica has two playmakers; Gaitan and Aimar + Witsel as DM, who is also skilled. We have besides Mata, old Lampard and who, Ramires? O yes and Mikel or Essien. I think we have to revamp our midfield and attack in summer seriously...

They have a buyback clause in Rodrigo though and they did the same with Pablo Sarabia or whatever he was called. Was one of their biggest prospects and they let him move including a buyback.

Reliable belgium news sources are reporting AC Milan are in pole position to attract Witsel!

Witsel has a buy off on his head of €40 million but AC Milan is negotiating about a €5 million offer with the switch of LB defender Taiwo (former Marseille player) to Benfica as part of the deal.
