Their FB are fine. Zabaleta and Sagna are two of the best RB in the league. People use to say Sagna was the best RB in the league when he was at Arsenal. So they are fine in that department. Sagna has been excellent this season. Kolarov for me too, is extremely underrated and one of the best LB around imo. He has worked on his defensive game and is unstoppable going forward. Clichy is a decent back up too. They are scoring goals and not conceding.

I totally agreed with you about the Premier League being in decline for the last 4/5 years, but in my opinion still levels above the Bundes (with the exception of Bayern which is clearly better than any PL team). Referring to La Liga clubs apart from Real and Barca as championship material was the real BS. But things might change next year with the new tv rights deal (and i think it will), even if money wasn't the reason because the funds have always been there but badly spent (I can mention for example how Tottenham spent the treasure generated by Bale's sale).

The money is already here. You already have the wealthiest league in the world. Still, the real world class players will always sign for either Real or Barca.

They have to perform in the CL now. Only the big three in Europe possess more quality than City now. I'm very interested to see how they'll do.
