Kevin de Bruyne

I liked your post because of this statement. It's so annoying seeing a lot of footballers strolling around when their teammates have the ball instead of making runs to create space for creating chances.

This. And people still want someone like Isco ahead of Koke for example.

But will he be able to play in his favoured formation? Guardiola has constantly tinkered with the formation and moved the players around at Bayern.

Well if Guardiola can't say to a player on which position he plans to play him after 2 seasons at Bayern, then he truly is a shite manager :D

Telegraph:

"Despite the fact De Bruyne could leave Wolfsburg for double what they paid for him, Cheslea have no regrets over letting him leave. De Bruyne claimed he was not told why Jose Mourinho allowed him to go, but club officials at Cheslea insist the

reasons were clear. It is understood De Bruyne told Cheslea ’s manager he was not mentally capable of having to compete on a daily basis for a place. De Bruyne [informed Jose Mourinho that he] needed to play in every game to show his best form.

Mourinho told De Bruyne he would have to fight for place like the rest of Cheslea players & that is when the player asked to leave".

I wish thing's were looked at in context.

Player's can leave and be successful elsewhere without it being a mistake to sell them.

Ibra, Toure, Cesc and Sanchez have all left Barca and all have done aswell if not better for there new club's than KDB did for Wolfsburg yet did Barca fuck up letting them go?

The two aren't mutually exclusive.

If that's true, then truly well sold.

Man, I really hope he doesn't come back to the PL. Especially to City. Would be a nightmare and embarrassing for the club when each and every week all of the media and internet reminds us that we sold him for relative peanuts and he's now a star.

He'd put up monster stats and look even more fantastic than he does in Germany playing alongside Agüero, Silva, Yaya, etc

Think it's inevitable that he ends up back in England unfortunately because no one other than the Spanish giants can afford him now. Bayern won't spend £50m or more on a player.

Oh no, I'm sure the club is having nightmares over it despite the fact the season after we won the double.

And what if he's shit at City? The media will praise us (well, as much as they would praise Chelsea for anything). If he isn't mentally up to compete for his place then he may suffer under competition from Silva and Yaya. City don't need a n10, they need a fullback, a centre back, a defensive midfielder and a central midfielder.

He wouldn't be a #10 there, he'd probably play on the right. A front four with Agüero up top, Silva in the middle, and potentially Sterling and De Bruyne on opposite wings is ridiculous.

Aguero

Sterling Silva De Bruyne

It wouldn't be much better than our front 4, quality wise, and would would be inherently poor at tracking back and defending - they'd need better than Fernandinho-Lampard to do that. Matic Cesc would not survive either. They'd need something like Kondogbia - Pogba/Vidal. And for Kompany to remember how to defend.

Willian = Sterling

De Bruyne = a less quality Hazard

Aguero = Costa

Silva = creator (Cesc) but pushed further up, to make up for the fact that behind them is the most uncreative central midfield ever.

It'd be a quality team, but ours is more balanced and our manager is better - we could get a win over them.

We have City away second game of the season. It shall be an interesting match.

£50-60m for De Bruyne... Jesus christ. We got an absolute bargain for Hazard.

Hazard and Sanchez look like the bargains of the century when you look at the numbers being thrown around for the likes of Sterling, De Bruyne, Pogba and all these guys.
