You'll acknowledge that we were replying to each other pretty much as live at that point. I'm posting this only to acknowledge that I did indeed reword my comment. There is a difference between 'lie' and error or misjudgement. Since you know Bluemoon and the thread in question you should have no problem finding the run of pages over which these considered, i.e. not initial, honeymoon period, thoughts were being expressed and you'll see that my characterisation was reasonable. Lie remains a word for which you should apologise. Perhaps you misjudged then, although I find that hard to understand as it's obvious the vast majority doesn't think he needs to be benched or that José was right to sell him. Pretty much the reason why I used the wording "lie" in the heat of the moment, as it looked to me you wanted to prove a point using false information. I probably should have worded it differently, I didn't want to make you sound like a liar, for which I apologise.

I did allude to the possibility of misjudgement when I wrote in my initial comment that the opinion was in the majority as far as I could divine. I do maintain however that people reading that run of pages will at least see where I got it from. That said, since I have myself often made the same point you did about KDB being an ex Chelsea player, and since it is the treatment/prospects of Charlay Musonda that we were really discussing, I'd sooner get back to talking about our present and our future, not our past. Weckerz
Stingray 9,441
If you're read bluemoon then you have read the posts to which I refer and you can have the honesty to apologise. Ive read the thread 'should he be in the starting 11' and it is more about balance in the team (him and Silva) then about ability. They seem pretty unanimous about that tbh. City's other so called big men have regressed, Silva, Aguero and so on are at least a class below this season. Maybe too many injuries. De Bruyne ran the show for City, fits right in, but don't get carried away, there are a lot more games coming up, we'll find out whether the ~75 mio. player can do it consistently. But kudos to De Bruyne, one could say that the transfer so far has been a success story. In my view Di Maria is the real deal, another world class performance, boy he's that good, unbelievable! Fernando 6,585
Such a shame that Mourinho sold him.. Just by Mourinho selling him it showed to me that he had a lot of control in the transfer deal.
special Eden 78
Wake the f*** up!  Mourinho didn't sell him! Maybe he didn't see KDB as a starter, but it was De bruyne who couldn't live with fighting for the spot… So he wanted away!  Mourinho said that they must not sell him, but that they could send him on loan!http://www.eurosport.co.uk/football/premier-league/2015-2016/jose-mourinho-begged-chelsea-not-to-sell-de-bruyne_sto4961797/story.shtml Its the same story with Lukaku! But i understand its must be hard for the club when we get massive bids for young players that aint starters… Should they loan they out or sell.(maybe the players don't want go on loan, and ask for them to be sold?)  Its easy now to say that we have done a huge mistake! If I remember correctly we sold him for 15mil, to a club as wealthy as Chelsea, that would not be enough to go against Jose if Jose seriously wanted him.

There is something called "Inserting Confidence" into the young guns ... De Bruyne could have easily ended up at Dortmand in the summer but stayed because Jose promised him a fair trail ... And as far as I re-collect he did stay put at Chelsea for half a season awaiting for an opportunity ... When nothing comes your way, what are u going do ... just sit there and waste your talent. He was never getting a start under Jose for sure. Lukaku for me is the smart one ... He believed in Jose for 2 months but as soon as E'to came in, he took off. Should these guys stayed back and fought for a chance, probably yes but we arent living in the olden days where the impact of agents and money was not so high as it is now. If you have the talent... your agent can always sell you as the next best thing and you will always have a club ready to pick up (for the players between 19 yrs- 22yrs) ... In their cases, they did make a mark while on loan ... At the end of the day, It's our mistake that we dont want to breed players and transform them into world class players ... Stating that a player didnt want to fight for his place when the manager is showing no confidence is actually the easiest thing to say for us.   kellzfresh, Stingray, Stats and 5 others
