bushman 2,043
Yesterday, while I was watching the game, KDB was shown, sitting on the bench, all bundled up, almost in tears.Promised mountains in the summer, fucked royally now. I honestly feel sorry for this kid. He ought to go in January just to retain his career & never come back. It´s sad, but true. johnnythefirst 1,076
I think it's practically impossible to convince Mourinho to change his mind once he thinks you're not his main man. If he forces him to stay after January, he's an asshole.By now, looking at what's being said these last weeks, I'm not seeing Lukaku ever becoming a regular under Mourinho either. ChelseasMessiah 304
I feel sorry for the lad as he's a talent, but if we play devil's advocate, he really hasn't taken his chances other than the game against Hull. Having said that, there are players who have been utterly terrible and yet play every week. yorkie
Barbara 15,149
Why would Mourinho have to change his speech only because of window transfer approaching?Wasn't his words about Lukaku enough to prove that without his nod no player under contract leaves the club on loan or sold?He didn't need to say anything and he could still have said no to every proposal as well as to Kevin. Mourinho's in a position where he doesn't need to play those mind games. Those players are his for the take or to release. If he wants to loan Kevin he will and if he doesn't he won't, he doesn't need to praise the kid publicly for it to affect that. It's his decision alone, and in case Kevin asks to leave, Mourinho will decide releasing him or not based on what he believes works the best for Chelsea. Those words seem honest imo, and he didn't need to tell them to soften Kevin (it's indifferent, and he's probably talked much more to the kid than to the media about him) or to calm down the press who seemed to have even forgotten Kevin exists. Ever since the Steaua away game when Mourinho refused to keep talking about not selected players, no one else brought the Kevin de Bruyne subject up. There are only rumors about transfers. The same way there are about Mata, Luiz, Courtois, Lukaku, etc...

Popular Post! The Skipper 20,609 Posted December 9, 2013 Popular Post! Share Posted December 9, 2013 It's a shame, because in pre season he really pushed for a decent role this season, but I'm not really surprised this is happening. I said it as soon as Willian signed that it'll probably be the end of KDBs CFC career and I and some others got flack for saying that the signing was unnecessary but alas, here you have it. KDB will likely leave us in January IMO. Stingray, mediator, TorontoChelsea and 2 others

KDB will likely leave us in January IMO.The Willian signing never made any sense, period and it's fundamentally what's wrong with football. It's one thing when teams go out and sign a player they need to fill a hole on their team. It's another to build up and buy a lot of talent at a position and then say "hey, I like this player too" and then spend double what the average Premier League team spends a year on a player you don't need. He's a talented player, but we spent 30M pounds to go from KDB to WIllian. People always overrate how much depth you actually need. It's something I pointed out in pre-season. Teams simply never use 6 attacking midfielders regularly. When your manager likes to bring on a second striker as a sub, it means you won't even use five regularly. We have 9 players for 4 positions (and that's without Ramires who has played at AM a few times as well). KDB is last in the pecking order of those 9 players. He simply isn't going to play. @Spyker- "Proving" yourself in pre-season is like proving yourself on playstation. It's utterly meaningless. Marko Marin wa sour best player in pre-season last season. It doesn't mean a thing. Yet, every damn season, people go crazy over pre-season performances and every damn season they mean nothing . kellzfresh 7,229
The fact we cant finish off games early has made KDB not even get a chance to come in 60mins or earlier into matches. He would have had enough time to stake his claim. Sad for him, if he cant play on wednesday, any hope he has that he will play is over BleedsBlue

Popular Post! The only place to be 11,313 Posted December 9, 2013 Popular Post! Share Posted December 9, 2013 And then what? Things won't be that different next year.Just imagine if he goes there though, surpasses all expectations, scores maybe 10 goals and is regarded as one of the best young players in Europe. Then we can loan him to an even better team. And then the season after that we could loan him to an even better team.Just think of the possibilities - when he's in his prime we could probably loan him to any team in Europe.
