Not worth 65M, end of.

Trouble is the BALE transfer fucked up the market - suddenly every player is worth 80-90 million - look at Luiz €50 million crazy money...

It just needs to stop... Hate to say it but we need a system like the US - capped salary and fixed transfer price...

It's simple mate, we just do not pay it. If teams like PSG want to pay us 50M for Luiz then fine, but we shouldn't following suit by matching idiotic prices for players valued at 65M or whatever at any point.

Yeah but if all prices have jumped by 20-30% it's going to affect us on every transfer and is not showing signs of stopping

FFP is worthless really as City and PSG are pressing ahead regardless.

Just because City and PSG are pushing on doesn't mean we have to be bent over backwards for a player just because the market has gone mental. The market was mental long before the Bale sale went through. I am certain that the days of Chelsea FC spending 50M upwards on one player are gone, and I don't think we would even look at Pogba for this supposed 65M, it's idiotic.

Would absolutely love Pogba on this squad but there are so many variables, not to mention we have younger guys who do deserve a shot and prove their worth.

At the same time...while its still overpaying, dropping that kind of money for Pogba is more justifiable than dropping that kind of money for an over the hill Torres, a mid-level jack of all trades in David Luiz or a 30 year old Miranda.

If the market is completely screwed then if you truly desire someone of that level, that's the price your paying.

if we're talking €65m which is £52m I would consider it only because we basically swapped David Luiz for the best young box to box midfielder in the world. That would be a major windfall for Chelsea no matter the dollar spent.

And for those whining about prices spinning out of control, lets not forget our very own club are part responsible for that occurring.

Send Ramires the other way, then we can talk of a decent cash plus players price. Fuck the 50-60M crap, not a chance. If PSG and City want to keep getting their arses raped by clubs with huge prices then let them crack on.

Our board won't spend this much on one player anymore, I am telling you.

Wasn't there rumors Juve was intrested in Ramires? Him + £40m would do the trick.

They said on Eurosport that Real Madrid have seen their €65m plus two players offer refused today. Apparently Juventus want Di Maria included in the deal.

The guy is worth every penny, no doubt about that, but how much were talking about if Juventus will keep refusing offers like that? I just have a feeling Mourinho won't go that far...

Jose don't have a choice, it is the club who will be deciding his price. Jose can only give his recommendations...etc and tell the club the players he wants to bring in. But yh I agree 65m is way too much for him, even then Juve is essentially demanding over 100m worth seeing as Di Maria is 40m alone by himself. So I think we should let this go.
