Dropped after his awful error v Cardiff ,try to keep up ,injured recently .

Justifiably so (even though he has participated in 3 games since that) but he's been injured in the last week so understandably he's missed our last two games but I really wouldn't go as far as saying that the CB partnership has been established for the next 10+ games.

I was very worried about him for this game as Southamton have a very mobile attack with great movement and he is known for his notorious positioning issues, but luckily he had a great game and the Saints didn't have a single meaningful attack after the first 13 seconds. Vital goal as well. I had a feeling he would score as he was firs to a couple of balls from corners in the first half as well.

yeah actually thought Cahill was better than Terry this time around. Terry's passing was a bit lacking especially in the first half.

We've not been keeping the football well enough. We do rally well, but we need to start playing better football. Arsenal are playing better and deserve to be ahead.

Tbf, teams play differently against Arsenal than they do against us mainly due to the fact that they fancy their chances against Arsenal's defense and often commit men forward while most teams play very defensive against us. That is also helped by the fact that we play a much slower tempo than Arsenal do so teams know that they have a decent chance of keeping us out for 90 mins if they just sit deep while they know that they are very likely to concede if they do so against Arsenal.

He has been desperate for that goal alright since his last one came against Spurs at WHL last season (IIRC).
