Even if he celebrates, whats the difference? He already lied to us, betrayed us.

But he wont celebrate because he wants that fake nice public picuture of inocent man.

36 and joins direct rival for title. Wheater its money, wanting title or just revenge the reason he went there, he has no respect towards club and fans. Proper legend would retire and get in board. But not frank...

I dont know if this has been posted already but interesting point in this article

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/article-2933127/Frank-Lampard-legend-Manchester-City-left-one-hell-bitter-taste-won-t-sing-Stamford-Bridge.html

"...Frank Lampard is a Chelsea legend but Man City move has left one hell of a bitter taste... I won't sing his name at Stamford Bridge..."

Frank WAS one of my favourite all time players, and I won't forget what he did for the club and all the years i cheered his name, bought merchandise with his name on it and couldn't praise him high enough. I truly expected him to be Chelsea forever and one day i would be standing by his statue at the stadium near Ozzie's.

That was until.....

He chose money over loyalty, chose money over the fans that supported him for over a decade. To go to City, i knew all the NYC club was nonsense and City had got round the FFP to have him stay the whole season. It's an absolute slap in the face, and I CAN'T FORGET IT AND I WON'T FORGIVE IT!!..

Then when he came on and scored for City, what a ****** joke. The ridiculous reaction/singing cheering, he got at that game was embarrasing.

HE WAS PLAYING AND SCORING FOR CITY!!!

I would hope this time our support has more sense. I didn't at that game and I never will sing his name or cheer him again.

To be honest he broke my heart and I won't get over it.

We SHOULD BE singing and cheering the people that actually PLAY FOR US!!!

Cheer for Terry, Drogba anyone but not Frank. He made his choice and I can never look at him the same way again.

hmmmm...

To me i have a semi-detached relationship, an ex to a first love, too much torn toward one way and then the other with him. I still regard him for being who he was, but i am disheartened by his choice. The fact he was regarded as such a 'smart' person, it seems he lost that 'genius' factor when he made the choice to do with anything with City.

Love live the legend, but not the memory.

Frank Lampard tells Soccer AM that Jose Mourinho would 'love' him back at Chelsea

“Jose Mourinho and the club from the top have said they’ll love for me to be involved, whenever I want to go back,” he said.

“Chelsea is like going back home and it feels such a big part of me. When you are part of Chelsea, I’ve seen it with people like ‘Chopper’ Harris and Peter Bonetti, they’re still there to this day. It’s a club that really looks after its players.

If the opportunity was there to go back, I would love to, as I had such a long career there. It’s a part of me – and that never changes.”

“It’s going be really emotional,” he said.

“It feels like coming home for me. London will always be my home, particularly the west London and Chelsea area. This game was always on the horizon for me and this week I’ve started getting texts and calls from people behind the scenes from friends and fans.

“I can’t wait to see those people at Chelsea. Everyone knows the rapport I had with the fans there, and I still do, but people like Alan Barrett, who works at the training ground, Frank Stier, Teresa, who works in the press room at Chelsea; these are people I didn’t get a real chance to say goodbye to.

"Thirteen years together you make a lot of friends and create bonds with people. I’ll look forward to that, but most of all stepping on that pitch and being in that stadium, which was my home for so long.”

No matter what happens today, Frank Lampard is a true genuine Chelsea great and I still regret what I said after he scored against us earlier in the season. He was here when we were average and he's been responsible for all of our success on the pitch. A true great, a gentleman, a legend and a true blue no matter what.

Indeed. It's Chelsea vs Man City at the end of the day and Lamps is the enemy for 90 minutes but the people who now hate him, call him a judas and boo him disgust me. I'm not happy he's there but he did too much for us to question his loyalty and his love for the club. It's an emotional day for him and he deserves the reception of all receptions whether he plays for Man City or New York City.

Lets just hope he injures himself in the warm up. I just can't wait for the game to end and that's when he can receive our love regardless of how the game pans out. We're still top.
