2012 is the year of the Dragon, my daughter was born in 2000 and she is also a dragon. Tradition holds that she gets a gift during the new year.

The Dog is a giving, compassionate personality. He offers kind words, support and advice to friends and family. He is a listener, always available to lend an ear or a shoulder to a friend in need. I live in Thailand and this New year (2012) i went to Chinese temple they(monks) said " dog , ox and dragon (sign) are having a conflict [at money things for my sign which is dog] and all of these signs need chicken (sign) to help them out" so i bought a chicken key ring and take it wherever i go.
