Reports in Italy claim that Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is ready to re-ignite his interest in Inter midfielder Antonio Candreva. Corriere dello Sport writes that the Italian tactician, who was close to bringing the player to Stamford Bridge last summer, is ready to try to tempt his current employers with an offer in the region of €25M. The 30-year-old has failed to settle in Milan after his move from Lazio and has only showed brief glimpses of his outstanding ability.

Conte of course, knows the player well from their time together in the Italian national team and a deal looked to be close last summer when Conte arrived in West London. Now that interest looks to be gathering pace once again and Candreva could be the champions fifth signing of the summer.

CHELSEA MAKE CANDREVA APPROACH

Antonio Candreva, Inter

Chelsea have made an inquiry as to the availability of Inter winger Antonio Candreva, according to  The Sun .

Blues boss Antonio Conte wants to create competition for his wing-backs and sees Italy international Candreva as the ideal squad player.

Do you even know how they calculate the figures for FFP?

Do you know that players contract are amortised?

Do you know that they make good money each year?

yip yip and another yip but even you can realise to have over 100mill in the red in two consecutive seasons  on players in's+out's is taking the fff piss ? At least Cfc have been trying in that aspect?

Lets not act like we don't knows whats happening at City. Their contracts and sponsors are directly linked to the owner. Those fuckers wouldn't even be in Top 10 revenue if not for that. They can't even fill their own stadium, they are lucky FIFA doesn't give a shit.

This guy Dalbert looks like a decent left wing-back

Suprised no talk on Jonas Hector , maybe dosn't have the same skills to pay the bills as Dalbert but seems like a decent defending option Vorsprung durch Technik ( especially if Conte changed formation next season)  .

BIG-SPENDING CITY

Manchester City have become the first Premier League team to break the £200m barrier in a single transfer window; Benjamin Mendy's arrival means they've so far splashed out £203.8m this summer. They are -£170mill in the red for players in/out 2017 -£150 mill 2016 !
