Go speak to Oxfordblues and ask him why he has not renewed his season ticket, then you can ask people who have gone to every home game since the 80's and now they have been priced out. Only the millionaire business men can go the game now, the real working class fan has no chance. That is why i want them to fucking bring some lube down to the negotiation table and to give them some umfffffffffff ! I say fucking £2000 pounds a share or a free season ticket for all of them for saving the club ? with Away games included ? 5 years season ticket !

didn't really answer the question tho.I sympathize wholly with fans, god knows when I travel it costs enough but I don't see trying to fleece the club as a viable option for anyone.

I can see a lot of you saying that it should be called Stamford Bridge. I disagree for the simple reason that it would not be Stamford Bridge. It would not be that plot of land next to the Fulham road and 2 train lines if you get what I mean. We would be calling it something that it just is not. Arsenal did not call their new stadium Highbury, City did not call their new stadium Maine Road. It would seem like we are saying that it would be the same stadium that we have played in for 106 years

I know on a sentimental level most fans don't want to move from the bridge, and I agree with them, but I also think that it is very important, with the financial fair play rules coming to effect, to get a stadium with a bigger capacity if we want to compete in the future. That's why I don't mind Samsung Arena being the home of Chelsea FC if it brings us a few trophies.

You're right, but the new name should have a meaning behind it.

Can Roman just build a home for those people who live around Bridge and than increase it's capacity?

It's not easy to knock peoples' houses down, no matter how much money you have! Redeveloping SB isn't really an option, unfortunately.

I'm saying it because I don't want to move, but I agree with you entirely otherwise.
