Let's focus on the positives for once, shall we? People are complaining about the littlest details from the second half when the game was already over. I need to watch it again but I thought his first touch was poor and didn't make the right runs.Drogba was one of our best players on the pitch his movement is fantastic, he was also incredibly unselfish. I could understand if we were being conservative like under Ancelotti during the back end of his regime but the Villas-Boas methodology is to score goals, and I'd rather win 5-1 than 4-0, even though I'm a goalkeeper. It was a set-piece and it's a 100% defensive situation where attacking isn't on your mind, and we are poor at defending those. I'm still very much waiting for a proper clean sheet. To be fair Bolton actually did score from open play when we were exposed in counter-attack, but Ivanovic cleared off the line, but replays showed it was definitely a goal... our luck that it wasn't counted Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Still has that striker mentality.David Luiz and Terry were excellent as well in my opinion. By far our best CB duo.Lampard was the best player on the pitch by a mile though. Real shame he's finished though.I thought Mata, Drogba had poor games today by their high standards but were still heavily involved in a few of our goals.
