Not sure exactly.. He was asked about the Mata reports and he just mumbled something to signal he didn't want to discuss it

Typical... Is there a video of the post-match interview?

I'm super worried by our performance, Can Mata and Modric, if they sign, really improve us that much?

Normally when one of our forwards make a run, there's hardly any support from the other two...

If Mata can provide that support, then yes it will make a BIG difference

Maybe ESPN will post it later, not too sure.

Hahaha the ol' :carlo: card.

The mumbling gave him away though

Yeah it was typical diversion, but I'm sure he wouldn't discuss signing a player to the media, he is not like mancini always talking about other teams players.

I'm glad that it isn't a high wage.

lol Kalou earns 60k :P

Kalou doesn`t earn 60k......he just gets paid it! :eyebrows:

55k for Mata is good, hope we don`t end up doing something silly and renew it next summer.upto 80 k or whatever when he`s signed a 5 year deal.

After watching his side see off West Brom on Sunday, Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas refused to be drawn on speculation linking him with a move for Valencia's Juan Mata. He claims to know nothing of the reported interest.

Well it wasn't that blunt.. He was trying to divert away from the issue if anything.
