ZOS 580
I just wonder what Manure fans have got to say now about the cost. All these years, these fans accused Chelsea or Citeh buying trophies & now the truth is here for all to see. Lol.after the spur's fiasco this season, no one sane will equate success to just spending
Fulham Broadway 17,751
Mata needs to be behind a striker, and whilst Rooney, Welbeck and Rapist Van Persie are there he will continue to be shoved out wide. The best position is on the wing -The Chosen One knows best bababoom, C7S and Strike

But vs City, they used 4-3-3 so he was wide most of the time.
Eligius 121
With Torres, his game was primarily build on pace and any injury relevant to his legs was always going to be a detriment to Torres. However, Juan Mata game was never on physical aspects. His failure (so far) at United has to do primarily with Chelsea. We completely gave him everything a player could want, all set piece responsibilities, no defensive work, and guaranteed starter. We allowed him to look better than what he really is and at United, this is exactly what is happening. United are beginning to realize they never needed Mata on their team and he was a complete "panic buy." I'm glad United's great signings are all pulling though. (Kagawa, Powell, Zaha, Fellani, and Mata). I hope RVP leaves them next season and goes to Juventus.

BlueLyon 9,359
I have strange feeling it would be better to keep Mata till end of season, he could add something different vs Palace, WB, WHU, Villa,...if Mou would ever trust and believe in him in first place. I think we lost title in games vs small teams, games where Mata was superb last season. With him, we might concede more goals, but also win those games in the end...Sometimes, Mou completely cuts certain players off, which isnt necessary a best thing for the team on long term. It's the opposite, Mata was hindering the team, because he only knows one role, epitome of one-dimensional. He never added anything substantial when introduced in similar level games under Jose; mostly down to form, hence why it was the perfect time to sell him. The entire deal was a masterstroke quite frankly, a panic buy from United, limiting their financial resources for the summer.

We won many games last year because of him, he might add something vs small teams. A killer pass would be enough.
