It's one thing if your lampard that can somewhat tackle and has at least good size and cesc, but mata doesn't have size or any ability to tackle...Mata hasn't started for United in the past 6 or so games and people think he would start on Chelsea??? Pacquiao 1,834 Posted February 23, 2015 Share Posted February 23, 2015 why on earth would anyone want Mata back??? he simply isnt good enough! bang average player who had a few good seasons in a weak Chelsea team that was built around him, if he came back he would be like Salah and warm the bench! the guy is not a Mourinho player, our players have more fight in their little fingers then Mata does in his whole body, he should go and play for someone like Spuds, Southampton or Everton a team that is willing to build their team around him. He'd be a squad player here as well.He needs to move to another country where he'd be the main man again and an every match starter. Willian can do a job on the 10, I'd rather we get someone genuine class like Reus to play opposite Hazard.Mata is too slow and weak to function in a Mourinho team which is why he got sold in the first place. Plus, workrate can be taught if we just need him to track back some, because if we were to take him unfortunately I think it would be at the expense of Oscar. We'd be outplayed in the midfield every single match. Mata issues with pressure goes beyond learning workrate, he just doesn't suit this style. Oscar literally has no interference on that. Mata would be a cuadrado a Player we use at the end of some matches depending on what we needed. It actually surprises me a lot someone can even wonder a Mata Cesc partnership seriously.
