Romelu Lukaku

he can do us a massive favor today. MASSIVE.

if arsenal win they will be 7 points clear off us before playing city and us in consecutive matches. worst case scenrio for them would be , still top of the table with 1 point. and that will be a big pyschological advantage. hope he can continue DD's legacy.

I think it's so funny. Relying on a striker from another team to make CFC champion. And still some people think he shouldn't play for Chelsea.

whoever think that "he is not ready" should just get their brains scanned.

Lukaku would have had his chances and they would have come more often than most think if he stayed, based on the utter dog crap on offer, but Mou hinted already the kid chose to bounce on the club for the season rather than prove himself. He values a spot in the World Cup squad over Chelsea at the moment so move on, it is what it is.

can you see the future ,,..I DONT blame Lukaku ,,I blame our terrible record of giving young players a decent chance ..Ake declined a loan check where he has been

playing

To be fair he does look improved... His passing and touch look better, but his decision making is below par. Expected more from him but he wasn't bad

Hope my comment doesn't come out as bad though. Made very good runs, just the final shot was lacking. He'll improve and come back as an absolute beast next season.

Put more into that match today than our strikers could manage between them.

Here's the thing....we've loaned him to a club who I think are probably better than us. What Martinez has got them playing is remarkable in such a short space of time.

They are a tight team all right and will damage the other top sides, as we found out to our cost. Squad depth may be their undoing as the season progresses, but definitely a dark horse and maybe a good bet for top four.

True .... I liked seeing them today. He is only human, but you just see those defenders hogging around him. It leaves space for all the rest. He is improved, still a bit raw but in productivity terms (for the team - not his goal tally) - he rocks. He brings something (along with the bad touches).

Yeah well. Still, we lost at Stoke WTF.

Just watched Romelu live against AFC: definitely not CFC level yet. Immature, doesn't get involved enough for defensive duties, if you can't win one aerial ball against Gibbs in 90 mins. However plenty of passion and good presence.

True , We certainly are glad to have the magnificent likes of established Multi millionaire footballers such as Torres and Eto'o

Lukaku is what it says on the tin...A poor mans Drogba. Big, bulky, runs at teams, draws defenders to him, but as Stingray says, he is not quite the finished Chelsea article yet. Dont think he is our 20 goal a season striker at the moment I'm afraid. But Martinez will make him a better player, no doubt. Very good manager in my opinion.
