Never forget the famous words -

'People always would talk about Kane, Lewandowski, Benzema, and say it was world-class level, with me it was always 'good form'.

'In the last two years I've shown that it's not just good form, I belong with that group.'

🤣

Ever since the signing of Marko Marin I have been of the opinion there is/was an immaturity at the heart of our transfer business. Immaturity of football judgement that is, meaning an opinion which is too easily influenced by the flashy or the headline grabbing. Fixing this could be one upside to the change of ownership.

get rid asap, fraud of a footballer

My hope is that no one blames Rom. He is what he is as a footballer. It's up to others, not him, to evaluate his quality. If those 'others' got the evaluation wrong that's not his fault so he should not be blamed or booed. The fault rests elsewhere.

Bollocks. Look at the effort at Inter vs here.

I can't blame his pathetic footballing ability but I will never forgive effort. Werner at the very least gets my sympathy because he always tried.

Honestly, as I said before we brought this joker, we would've been better off with keeping Tammy/Giroud. Honestly, I cannot see how people at the club didn't see this, I am just a regular fan and called this.

One of the things people, perhaps even including you I don't know, pointed out before the completion of Rom's return was that he would not suit TTs pressing scheme.* The lack of effort manifests itself in multiple ways. As I say, been saying about Rom since 2011 actually, he is what he is and what he is is not the right answer for Chelsea.

*Though not me. My issue with Rom's game is, and always has been, about the limitations imposed by his technical level.

I think they panicked at the lack of goals last season and wanted a guaranteed tally (which comically we haven't even got).

As Kai has shown of late, we should have held our nerve and committed to him in that position.

Quick question for those that are educated in finance.

Considering under new ownership, we will have the debt cleared. Does that make it ok for us selling Lukaku on a loss, along with the others?

We need to see if the books are wiped clean post sale. Also, for FFP purposes, a loss is only one that occurs in a 12 month fiscal year. So even if over the long run you take a loss on a player (say buy for £60m, sell for £40m 2 years later, it depends on the infows and outflows for the fiscal year you sold him to determine if is it an FFP-relevant loss.

Finally, when I say we ' shit away £600m plus ' since 2015 summer winner, that is NOT at all necessarily FFP relevant (although it certainly could be when you look at multiple windows (like the FFP 3 year rolling average) and then assume we could have saved outflows or made more on inflows).

Also that £600m (it actually may well be more) down the shitter is not just simple sales and buys, but also mis-timed sales, shit buys, mis-timed buys, shit sales, botched contractual management, etc etc. The formulae I use are also NOT just raw numbers, but take into account replacement cost, expected and actual utility valuations, etc.
