Jype 6,398
So, Lukaku's last touch for the club was one that cost us a trophy. A sad ending to what could have been an amazing story. MrBlueGuy and The only place to be

sdrcfc 461
Sadly it will be Costa, Drogba and Torres for the strikers next season, as good as it would be to have Remy or someone else as second choice we cant shift TorresThere's a possibility Mourinho would want to replace Lukaku directly, Remy wouldn't exact cost a great deal; probably just over a quarter of the £30m Lukaku fee.I thought Lacazette was more of a #10. johnnythefirst 1,076
Sad It didn't work out for him, but I guess he went for a very good price. Both clubs will be happy.

He has only just turned 21, is intelligent, strong, quick and can finish - but Mourinho doesn't seem to like him, probably for personal reasons. So let me get this straight - Mourinho actually doesn't have an opinion on Lukaku's attributes/skillset and relied only on his personal equation with him in looking to move him on. The same Mourinho who released Lampard and Essien; the same Mourinho who signed Eto'o for Inter and Fabregas for Chelsea not long after those players had some not very nice things to say about him. Yup, totally makes sense. Mourinho didn't get to the very, very top of his profession by holding grudges against 20 year olds. ParNolio7 285
He is our Manager are you f*ucking serious? You want Abramovic to manage our team?I mean he could drive the f*cking player bus down a canyon and you'd still applaud him. There's no criticism towards his decisions whatsoever. Even worse, anyone who does dare to critisize him is being bashed for a "Belgium fan boy" or whatever. Anyone criticizing (or however the f*ck you write that word) Mourinho couldn't possibly be a Chelsea fan right?I wonder how you would've reactied if it were Benitez who brought in veterans like Eto'o and Drogba for strikers. Sell Mata to United. Allow for Lukaku to go out on loan when we had zero options in attack. And so on.Perspective. Stats
DANILA 290
hate it when good players forced to leave just because they 'said something' that Mou doesn't like. Ridiculous. That's why he was booted from Real, no one liked him anymore for his ridiculous ego and beliefs. Vybz Kartel

IMO It has nothing to do with Mourinho's apparent "grudge" against Lukaku (one that has been over exaggerated by the media tenfold). I think Romelu just wants to go to a decent club where he's undisputed number one and CFC have thus sold an asset that doesn't really want to be here for a very good price, which is fine for all parties involved.
