Tomo 21,751
What are you on about, Didier took a penalty, Lukaku passed the ball to Neuer. The fuck did I just read...I will criticize a player for this, because of the way he took it, not because he missed. Half of the members on this forum could have saved that shot by Lukaku.tbf he is right, Drogba's penalty happened to be one of the worst in the shootout but it doesn't matter in the end because it was the one that one it

A lot of thought went into that penalty, especially with regards to the short-run up. The short run-up didn't make it worse..it just made it more difficult to hit, which means more credit to Drogba for the way he took it. The german has no chance with the previous three.Either way, doesn't matter our performance that night was one of the worst i have ever seen, just happened the result was the best of our history, all that matters

Have you ever take a penalty? Didier just sent Neur to one side, and the ball to the other side. There are many ways to take a penalty, and that one is the perfect penalty, and even if Neuer had gotten it right, there is no way that the ball would end up in a place different than the net. That penalty was perfect. The movement, the balls speed, everything. Lukakus penalty was really poor, any keeper in the world would get that one. Penalties are not like you are suggesting: GK choose one side, player choose one side, and then we see what happens, its not like that all the time. When we were watching, it was clear from his movement that he was going to send the ball in that way, and it was clear that Neuer was getting that one. err 19
So pretty much a done deal as this source is reliable. Happy for the lad because he will surely find there a spot in the starting line up. With a nice team with a attacking spirit, better than WBA, he will surely score more than 10 ! Great move for him too because he will find more playing time as the WC approaches…
Goemaere 131
Now 3 days later, i'm actualy glad for Romelu that he missed. I think he get's a lot stronger mentally from fucking up instead of scoring the winning one. It's a shame we don't have the most worthless cup in europe but that's life. Goemaere 131
Hmm good for him, bad for chelsea (on the short term). If he develops as much as he did at west-brom, shit's going down. The Skipper
LukakutoStamford 779
Lukaku needed another loan year. People saw his 17 goals and said well he can start here at Chelsea, but what was missed is that Romelu scored most of his goals in wide open play and on counters, which doesn't quite fit with what Chelsea needs right now, a striker that can play in tight spaces. Lukaku needs to play all the time and the loan should help him to get the time he needs to further his development. It was a bad penalty miss and that can be critiqued. He overthought it and didn't jsut slam it home like he normally does on penalties. It's not a big deal to me... what everyone else should be more angry about is giving up the goal on the final play which led to PKs in the first place. Kinol 337
I was looking forward to see Lukaku play for us this season but a loan move might be for the best. Then he will come back next season when theres a chance that Torres, Ba and Etoo all wont play for us anymore.
