Jype 6,398 Posted January 13, 2013 Share Posted January 13, 2013 The potential has always been there but to be honest I wasn't expecting him to make such an impact this season, especially given the fact he wasn't even a starter at first. Recently Clarke has trusted him more and that has paid off, I believe Lukaku now has like 7 goals in 8 starts or something.Could no doubt do the job at Chelsea already but I think it's best he stays on loan for at least another year before coming back. I'm sure Lukaku agrees too, and he should have no problem going on loan if we assure him he has a future at the club and the plan is to make him a key player for our team within a few years. If Clarke stays at WBA beyond this season, Romelu should stay there and not go to another club where he will once again have to settle in first. However, if one believes it, then....?Regardless of it, I read many articles about him not wanting to come back to Chelsea now. Therefore, my response was geared to the thought behind it.
