We had a lot of on going negotiations for other players as well hence the stepback from the Lukaku deal. In the end we didn't really match Manchester's bid. They had 75m+15bonuses+Rooney+10m+Raiola's fee. We only matched the 75m+15bonuses so obviously Everton prefered to sell to United. I can understand the reluctance to buy him at this price an it's not like our budget for the summer was exclusively going to be for the striker. The Diego Costa situation also didn't help. If you didn't want the player why the hell did you make the whole planet believeyou wanted the guy. This is just disgraceful and disgusting. Everday until the end of the transfer window i will see this in the news. Man Utd have had to live with the Mikel Obi transfer and now its our turn to do so. Its sad really sad cause everyday since this news broke out thats all i see with chelsea and their transfer dealings. No news on Baka or Sandro or Rudi just Lukaku so it will rob into our face. Forget the blessing it is more of a disgrace. No prob if you lost Lukaku but i was managing but chelsea just had to match the bid. This is funny. Chelsea matched the bid not beat but matched. Which may not be the case and may have been going Man U all along who knows just seems very quick business from them. Easy done no saga. Yet I'm supposed to believe £2M extra to Mino Raiola, or however much it was supposed to be, was this great ethical dilema that destroyed the deal? LOL. What a blatant fucking lie. If anything I think CFC were mad they got played by Mino Raiola, but guess what, he works for Lukaku, not CFC. His client has wanted out of Everton for 2 years now, and CFC dragged their heels until Raiola was forced to "make shit happen". This failure falls on nobody else's shoulders other than Marina/Emenalo. And I didn't even want Lukaku at Chelsea, but that doesn't mean the club didn't fail in attaining their 1st option target. It's time for Roman Abramovich to wakeup. He has to get rid of Marina and Emenalo ASAP, for their unprecedented levels on incompetence, and partner Conte with competent directors of football that know how to attain first option targets, and run a football club.
