That's what I call a good pre-season...all wins...only one goal conceded (which really shouldn't have happened)...and Torres, Drogba , Sturridge not only scoring but generally playing well...An addition of a couple of more players will defo make this team fly

I don't think Ivanovic will play Right Back...we seen Bosigwa more in AVB options...I would prefer McEchran first than Lampard...but nah...is can't happening..

That was piss easy to be honest but good to win all our pre season games after like losing them all last season. Torres was brilliant today but i'm so pissed off he was subbed, he wants goals ffs! Rather it've been like 6-1 because the match warranted that.

Kalou was once again the weakest link but yet he's not been told 'goodbye' which actually angers me and frustrates me like mental. Anelka was also shit, that chance he just gave to the keeper... wtf?

I agree with you 100%, I honestly don't know why Kalou is still here, he was poor again today, Anelka didn't play that well either. You know i think Lampard should be giving less minutes or be dropped. Today he was so slow, and took ages to pass, similar to last season. I don't know why it took AVB so long to sub him off, hopefully AVB doesn't keep him in the starting 11 just because he is Lampard. If a player is playing poor take him off. Simple.

Purely on the basis of ability and merit. Josh and Sturridge should be in the starting X1. the age and experience argument is becoming increasingly redundant imho. some players are extremely talented and mature at exponential rate to handle the pressure of playing regularly at the top level e.g Wilshere, Ozil, Goetze, Rooney (X1 at age 19) Messi (X1 at 18) add Josh and Danny to that list as well. Lampard and Drogba should be relegated to squad players next season.

'Mikel had a knock that he suffered a couple of days ago in training. He had an injection to avoid the pain but it was getting pretty nasty for him and we decided to take him out of the game.
